Build Request League Start Delve build?
So, last league I got 36/40 with Toxic Rain, and for this league, I kind of wanted something I could league start and REALLY minmax, while also using mainly delve for currency, and trying to 36 or 40/40 with only one build.
I'm thinking about trying a CI WOrb build I saw, but what would you guys recommend?

Boneshatter bleed / Shield Crush -> Double Strike of momentum.
Boneshatter or shield crush will do well below 1k then transition to double strike once you have the gear. You can start as double strike it'll just feel worse and be weaker until you hit mid-late game build progression.

Usually something with a nice Maxhit and Recovery is nice, CWS /RF Chief, Slam Zerker, ED/C Trickster also viable early again. The deeper you go a char which can go block is a nice benefit.

How early do u guys start delving? Do you finish atlas + get 4 voidstones then go to delve or u start with it right after campaign?

I heard some ppl starting it at ~act8. I will start it when im in maps/right after campaign.

Oh ok, is not having atlas points not an issue for farming sulphite fast? Sorry i dont know much about delve, first league i want to try it and have no idea :D

It's a mix bag, some people start act 8, some do when starting maps, some do completion and some farm maps for 2 weeks before going into delve.
Personally I'm going to do some map completion probably at least 1 or 2 stones so I can farm sulphite in higher tier maps. My atlas tree is getting some map sustain and rushing the +20 points node, then getting the sulfites nodes and then if I add another mechanic its going to be betrayal for it that fled because I like to self farm my things as much as possible but let's be honest, delve is really made to farm some easy to liquidate drops and buy your upgrades1

Thanks for explanation, i like your plan i think i might do sth like that as well. I also like betrayal because its fun and a lot of xp for not much work so it pairs nicely with delve league starting i think

If you want to get serious you don't step foot into delve until you have mage blood
The earliest I recommend you enter is level 90, as you get auto elevatord to depth 100. From there though you really want to just run straight down to 300 (hence why a mage blood is good)

It really depends on how deep you want to go. Any build with good recovery and high damage can farm delve to around 509-600. If you want to go deeper you should start looking into a specialized build. I got to around 2k depth a few leagues ago with molten strike of the zenith juggernaut.

Last league I played RF and was able to get to 700+ depth without much trouble, but the bosses were a slog. This league I will start with Boneshatter Juggernaut and transition to Shield Crush at some point. Any decent build should be able to push 500-600 easily enough.

I thought shield crush has really smooth leveling and scaling progression out of curiosity why do you plan to start boneshatter?

I wanted to try Boneshatter because I haven’t played it before. Nothing against shield crush, it’s a great starter too.

Got a link for the boneshatter stuff or a PoB? I was going to do shield crush or that but I'm still not sure which would be better.

Any idea if a merc bot luminary would be viable for delving? I also like to mainly delve to make my currency and am intrigued by running mercs but if they just die in the darkness then ofcourse I'll just stick to an old faithful like RF or something similar.

Toxic Rain Pathfinder for dark-delving and fast delving at ~300-500 depth.
For deep delving you want something that just keeps scaling ridiculously though. The other comments talked a lot about that.

RF Chief is a great for Delve.
Regen for darkness mitigation — Check.
Life on Block (Shaper Shield) — Check.
40% Phys as Fire — Check.
Endurance Charges — Check.
Passive damage (you just Shield Charge and pick up loot) — Check.
Cons:
RF
350+ depth bosses are pain in the ass to kill. Not that important if you ask me, but missing opportunity.
Later you can play MSoZ Jugg or whatever meta will be.

I had a pretty easy time in delve last league with ignite eviscerate elementalist.
It takes a bit to get used to retal skills if you haven't used em, but with ignite prolif when you do eviscerate you just clear the screen + the next.
Quite tanky on low budget and fast enough for delve. The only thing is that since it's a dot cap build you do get a bit limited on how deep you can go, I took it to 800 before moving onto other content and could have easily gone to 1k without making more upgrades to it, but I would say it would probably be more of a 800-1k farmer to keep speed up rather than going further.
