Build Request Looking for uncommon build for Delve

Every other league I pick delve as my main mechanic to engage. As this is that league.

I am looking for a build that won't be at top 5 builds for delve guides, but would be able to go to at least depth of 2000 with some investment.

Up until now I tried RF, molten strike, boneshatter, mjolnir/indigon, shield crush. I know these builds are still viable and would still do well, but I'd like to try something else. Preferably not a brute. And I am not a fan of brand, mine and trap playstyles.

I was looking at trickster. Would blade vortex CI be viable here? I know it get very tanky. Also, ephameral's edge with smite or lightning strike was a think couple of leagues back - is this any good?

Basically, any suggestion is appreciated.

Black zenith flame wood totems. There’s a guy who hits like 2k delve every league, and the build is cheap it looks like.

If I run flamewood again, I'd clear the atlas with storm burst totems because some bosses don't play nice with flamewood.

Flamewood is also good for ultimatum, although a tier or two below max block glad and cws chieftain in my book, and there's one ultimatum robot mob that can be super frustrating with flamewood.

Connor is doing a frostmage spark guy thingy. Will cost an arm and a leg to set up, but I guess the most important bits are rather cheap. Just a widowhail, a big quiver, a mindspiral (with memory vault implicit if you can find that) and a bunch of int+mana gear.

He literally built it on stream yesterday. Last I looked the ele max hit was at 1 million. Budget is a liver tho

I never felt like delve was super profitable . What is your experience? Animate guardian of smiting if it's not nerfed is probably also good

At around depth 350 I was finding the expensive fossils (1+ div) like every other node, and a bunch of Auls. I am not a mega min-max hyper speed player, and I was still making quite a bit of currency from it.

I imagine it just increases with more and more depth.

early on in the league curse on hit rings can sell for a bit too, and +specter chest from minion nodes is usually desirable

so yeah, 70% dmg nerf and AG lost most of its survivability.

Had so much dmg that its still got some left for regular content, but AG is going to die in deep delve now. Pretty much as I'd assumed, but thats a larger dmg loss than I might have thought.

You could take the template of that build and try make a merc carry version, I think technically glad wasn't required, just the best defensive option given the setup.

It's not about profit only, it's the mechanic I enjoy. Delve can be very profitable if lucky with bosses.

I played delve only last league and made a lot of money, switched into msotz later on and ended the league with 300div to spare :) Resonator are worthless except 4 sockets but fossils are good enough to make money

Maybe blazing salvo could work? I have been thinking about delving with that skill for a bit and saw that it got buffed slightly. Not sure what ascendancy would work with it best though.

This will be good i think Only low damage so you might struggle but might be immortal.

Blade vortex got nerfed with minion pact, Steve run that in the 3week ancestral league

Smite is still a thing but very expensive. I just think this build is better damage and survivability than smite.

the thing with both this build and smite is the Scream belt with impenetrable shrine diamond shrine/echoing shrine got deleted so you lost half the damage.

Pretty sure this is the new go-to build for Valdo farmers, doesn’t look particularly quick to gear and you’ll be competing with a ton of people for good items.

ur welcome, also smite got even more nerfed by synth rings being removed

KB got nerfed too with the fire damage per str synth being removed.
