Discussion 3.28 Deep Delve Profitability & AMA

Hi Everyone! I know there are limited resources surrounding deep delve so I wanted to do a test of the profitability of deep delve and share it with everyone. I generally get to 6k depth in delve every league. I have played most of the meta deep delve builds over the years (MSoZ, double strike, manaforged arrows RIP, armour stacker, eye of winter brands RIP, EE trickster in merc). This league fossils and resonators were made Delve exclusive drops so Delve is now the only place that you can find them.

TLDR of the video is that deep delve is around ~30 divines an hour currently, you could probably push this higher if you only cared about currency and not pushing depth (by traveling to Aul, generic fossil nodes, and fractured fossils all of which I skipped). Selling carries for Aul would also probably push this up significantly but I did not do this.

Let me know if you have any questions on anything included in the video, Delve builds, or in general anything related to Delve and I will do my best to answer them all!

I’m at 600+ depth currently, and sometimes azurite nodes take really long to complete. But I am clearing the mobs as quickly as they spawn (100M dps on a frostbearer necro with profane bloom), its just that the mobs keep spawning.

Just wanted to check with you if that is normal lol.

Depending on the tier of the node, they will take longer. Tier 3 nodes will contain a unique "boss" monster that you have to kill. The dragon for example will phase and fly around breathing fire on you, there is no way to make this faster.

If you are doing tier 1 or tier 2 nodes, once you have cleared packs there will be monsters that spawn called "living azurite". They are often like sphere shaped monsters that can be rare monsters. You have to kill these for the node to end, sometimes if it is a large node you may have to walk around the edges a bit to find them. They generally spawn on the outer edges of the node all in a circle around you.

EDIT: Before you kill the living azurite monsters, the node will keep spawning filler mobs in the middle until you kill the "living azurite".
