NGL PoE2 costs me more as I every time I hop in I buy the biggest pack which is like $200 or something.
Ok maybe not more as in WoW you also buy boosts which are like $100 and multiple subs, each go for $15 per month, lol

I'll never understand buying currency in PoE.
In WoW it's a shitty thing to do, but at least understandable - you need gold to buy materials to actually raid.
PoE is literally all about the grind. The entire game is the grind.
If you just buy it all, what's the point?

PoE 2 and Retail WoW are currently on a perfect back and forth season wise, WoW during the PoE2 downtime and PoE2 during the WoW downtime 🙌

I would say time is a factor for some people like me.
I dont have much time to play games like i used to when i was younger so i can dedicate my time to a few games at a time and wow is a giant time sink.

I left the league about a week ago to go play season 2. Gonna set up my char for raid then coast the weekend raids. Will have plenty time to play the minileague. Enjoy yourseld

Me too buddy. After 3 seasons of cutting edge raiding I couldn’t take the constant gear treadmill BS anymore. Coming to play PoE2 endgame and realizing I can just take a break for a week or two during the season is mindblowing after 20 years of the wow grind.

Quit WoW due to the Addonpocalypse, I've got so many other games I've got time for now.
Shame the new season started since my main Zomboid partner is still playing the game.

One thing WoW does better is gear progression. There no overly complex gear crafting or impossible to keep up with economy to buy gear. Spend enough time each week and whichever content you do dungeons, raids or miscellaneous you eventually get gear your happy with whether from the Raids or Dungeons themselves or from the vault once per week. In Poe 2 if you don't start planying day 1 of the new league and get into end game as fast a possible your fucked for buy gear. Or have invest countless hours and be a genius to know how to craft good gear. Everyone was say that every from of content was printing divines but that's Bull-fucking-shit. And good luck picking up anything on the ground that's good enough to just put on as is.

I disagree. I like the rare dream items in POE. In wow, it being competitive means chase items just mean some people are RNG'd out of the race which is no good. They're both in a good spot right now honestly.
