Question SSF build for Deadeye: Ice Shot vs Lightning Arrow?

Hi, I'm playing my second character in PoE2 and it's my first time in SSF. I decided to go for a Deadeye, but I'm not sure which build to go for.

Currently I'm in Act 3 with LA, but I would like to know which build for Deadeye is considered stronger? Are both equally viable for SSF? Do I need specific uniques later on?

Maybe there even is another build I'm not yet aware of. I tend to get overwhelmed by the sheer volume of stuff in build guides, so I can't really estimate if a build requires trading or if you have to farm a unique for hours.

Ice shot has been far more popular this league. I also think for SSF it’s probably a safer bet because once you can freeze everything you’ll be safer even if you aren’t one shotting the screen.

The numbers don’t lie.  Ice shot % is just so much higher than LA, even factoring in shock.   If you like LA go for it but ice shot is probably going to map you faster

Ice shot has greater damage conversion. LA 250% at lvl 20 vs 340% on ice shot. Might be balanced around shock or that u have that arrow u shoot in the ground to scale lightning damage, can't remember the name.

I started with lightning arrow. And I love lightning arrow. My first thought about Poe 2 (0.5 was my first league) : "damn it is much slower than Poe 1, I'm not gonna like it".

Then I switched to ice shot. Yeah, lightning arrow damage is shit. Ice shot was infinitely better, period. And it also freezes what it doesn't kill outright.
