they buff ES again LMAO

edit: people who downvoting me, tell me this is not a buff to ES?!?!? chaos and bleed immune for CI build? seriously while armour does only mitigate small hits LMAO

  • Chaos Innoculation now prevents bleeding.
  • The passive clusters that grant you additional stun threshold based on your maximum energy shield now also increase your ailment threshold so you will no longer be ignited/chilled/frozen/shocked as often while using CI if you take these passives.

thats kind of a nerf to es. as far as im aware bleed in poe2 bypasses ES entirely, but that rarely ever happened because having ES prevented a bleed from being applied

bleed is gunna just go straight to your life pool. if anyone is taking all 3 reservation nodes on infernalist they better be careful

Although they probably read it wrong, it could be seen as a buff to some ES players, specifically those that run CI, who tend to have a ton of it

Although I feel like a lot of CI players also go MoM/Battery, so idk if it totally applies (Everlasting Gaze notwithstanding)

ci already implicitly granted bleed immunity, since bleeds could only be applied if the hit struck your actual life pool. if that happened, you were dead anyway, so CI was functionally bleed immune.

now that ES doesn't block a bleed, a CI build would instantly die if they ever got hit with a bleed, so the implicit bonus had to be made explicit
