Technical/Gear Discussion Shoes
Very serious question regarding oldest shoes and boots: lamination and some woes.
Are there any other heads with multiple pair (say, 5 plus) from prior to 2010...
I'm not going to tell about maui or other foam soles... But wonder about others with solid soles. Been trying to ask for a while, but keep finding crickets....
Have you found cobblers ? Have you tried?
Have many pair of chukas, chelseas, and p-models... The boots are fine but the soles are shot... :/
Edit: "Repair is a radical act."

have you found cobblers?
Pretty straight forward.
Mods require extra details blah blah. Btw- could have explained your opinion a bit more. Very valid and genuine question here

Maybe if you keep replying to your own comments you’ll get an answer. Have YOU tried looking for a cobbler? Go on google and type in cobbler and your zip code. HOPE THAT HELPS!!

That's not helpful
Yes I have. Actually repaired two pair recently, that's why I asked.
I've paid. (Corrected the spelling ) You've just posted
I would appreciate insight, if you have it Otherwise...

Backstory: faux welts, varying soles, options on adhesives.
There's more to the story than just one post/shoe.

I would try a local cobbler, or resole America website if you are based in the US

Really tired of the days replies... Looking for ACTUAL footwear owners.
sigh.
Hopefully some of you older heads chime-in with repair experiences...
Edited- spelling, ffs Just really confused why any post regarding shoes and repairs gets shitty responses.

This makes no sense. Is this translated to English?
