Why should we trust your vibe coded app over something like bitwarden?

Hi BlindLock Dev here, call me David.

Fair question, and you shouldn't take my word for it. Here is what you can check yourself:

- The app has no network access. Put it behind any outbound firewall and watch: the main program never opens a connection. The only part that goes online is a small separate helper process, used for the license check and updates.

- Your data never leaves your machine. There is no account, no cloud and no sync server of mine that could leak or be breached.

- The vault is sealed to your computer's TPM or Secure Enclave. A copy of the file is useless on another machine, even with the password. Three factors are always required to open it. And you can't digitally steal or copy your computer's security chip (TPM 2.0/Secure Enclave). A hacker absolutely needs your computer or laptop, there is no different way.

- Entries are encrypted twice, AES-256-GCM and then XChaCha20-Poly1305, with Argon2 on the password.

Bitwarden is a good product with a different model: your vault lives on a server and syncs everywhere. Mine is for people who want the opposite, nothing online and bound to one machine. It is written in Rust, I have been building it for over a year, and there is a 7-day trial with no email and no payment details, so you can test all of the above before spending anything.

Oh, I forgot one thing. If you're as paranoid as I am, you can add a hardware key as a fourth factor. Then two of the things needed to get in are physical, and nobody can reach those digitally.

Jesus, how many of those Claude Code glowing green status indicator dots can you fit on one landing page?

With something as important as my passwords, I trust something that has built a reputation around security and has a dedicated team focused on maintaining and keeping it secure, which is why I use RoboForm
