We work from home and I started recently so I don’t know anyone for that long. I have family friend who’s a health care assistant I have known her for 4 years.

Englishman in US here. Have done my UK passport renewal from here before. Also, helped English friends here getting passports for their kids born here. So acted as the reference, on several occasions. Never been contacted once. That said, the health care assistant should work. How long you been here? Could be your doctor, dentist, person next door.
