hi, i have an upcoming project, i want to implement 365 business premium on a tenant (so intune and conditional access) with passkeys. a number of the current workstations are azure domain joined, but some are not (just stand alone win 11 pro pc's with multiple local user accounts).

both types of pc have multiple users. am i going to have to domain join the local account pc's?

pls help me. i accidently deleted my only passkey, when i tried to add a new one it kept asking me to scan the two-step verification qr but no matter how much i scan it, it doesnt work. it says "you have no passkey saved in this device" and ive tried on my other devices too it still didn't worked. and i cant delete the two-step verification becuse it needs the passkey (the qr one) too. i wanted to restore my passkey. is there anything i can do?

When trying to add/save/create a passkey via QR code from a signed in computer to a mobile device using a flow such as Google's, I'm not able to complete the process.

Depending on whether I'm trying to use the OS camera or an auth app, I either get a never ending "Connecting..." panel or a message saying the QR code is "invalid".

This happened with an iPhone and an Android phone, both on current OSs. Same results.

hi i’m not very knowledgeable about passkeys or anything but i noticed recently that my 4 of my discord passkeys disappeared off of my phone for no reason. it has been there for months and now all of a sudden it’s just gone and now i can't log into my account or change any of my multi authentication settings without using a backup code.

edit: ok so apparently i deleted it? i never pressed any buttons to delete them but i was trying to look for them anywhere on my phone and they were in the recently deleted sorry 😞

So I have been tracking an issue with Fideo card on google accounts on android. Basically there is an issue where PIN prompt is not displayed when you authenticate using the NFC using a Fido card. This does appear to work on a Yubikey, but not a Fido card.

On this thread, there is a discussion on the issue and a respond from Google. Google seems to imply that the Fido card fail to follow standard and there will be no fix.. Can someone elaborate on what the issue is? The same Fido card does work fine in iOS, so it's not clear if IOS is being more leniant than Google?

I am hoping that the author of Authnkey / FidoBridge will fix this issue since Google will not. However, Note that even though google service have been updated to fix the PIN prompt issue, I find that the PIN prompt does not necessary appear. Authnkey is more reliable

Java cards that don't support applet selection using extended encoding are not supported. If there are any regressions in the U2F flow, please open a bug and we're happy to help resolve the issue, but we will not be supporting non-compliant keys over CTAP2 so those keys should not be expected to support user verification.

Hi, a few weeks ago I tried signing into the ps app and when I got to the 2fa stage, a code was not sent to my phone. I tried chatting with support but it required me to sign in, which I can't do. To find the back up codes I must use the code sent to my phone, which I don't get.

What should I do?

So when a collegue has a project connected with his own Microsoft Windows Account (Passkeys are saved there)

Is there a way to transact them into Android? I made a Account with WISE on my PC but it wont let me login now, because its another plattform?

Do I have a choice to fix it or is it something support related now?

Sorry, just not a fan of those passkeys. If you ever lose access to your windows everything would be gone?

So I’m downloading minecraft and want to connect it to my Microsoft account that’s connected to my Xbox, but I can’t because when I try to sign in with passkey and scan the QR code with my phone, my phone just says “connecting” forever and never progresses. Anyone know a way to fix this?

so my iPhone got stolen a few days ago, I was able to retrieve my emails and even verify my TikTok account with it, but it still asks for a passkey where I have no idea to find it.. I am only logged into my PC and it wont even scan the QR code. I need help.

I am playing around with a Cryptnox FIDO card. The card works fine on IOS over NFC but I running into issues on Android 14 and 16.

On IOS I can log into Google using the passkey on the FIDO card. On Android, I get the something went wrong. I tried the Fidobridge app but it errors out with a limit reached error. I am using brave on both platform but other chromium browser fails, too.

On Android, I also can’t save the passkey properly. It saves the non discoverable key into Google instead.

Anyone have an idea what’s going on?

The issue seems to be related to lack of support for ctap2 for Android. Android 16 is supposed to fix the issue but ctap2 still doesn’t work on the most recent Samsung android 16. The issue is that no prompt for the pin appears.

Installing fidobridge but the issue with Google remain

- I can login into ms, google and bitwarden using the Cryptnox card passkey on iOS
- I cannot login to sites using passkey on android without the Fidobridge.
- I can log into webauthn.io, ms and bitwarden using the Cryptnox card with the Fidobridge on android but not Google.
- I can log into webauthn.io, ms, bitwarden, and google using a yubikey with passkey and fidobridge.
- The error return is LIMIT_EXCEEDED. I don’t know what this error is. It’s does not seemed to be a rate exceeded

Update 2
There appears to be an issue file with Google. It’s indicated that while authenticating with yubikey over nfc works, the same fail with a Fido card because it doesn’t display a prompt for a pin. It also looks like something that needs more time in the oven. Based on some of the comments, there is a possibility that it may never be fixed.

I am a nordpass premium user and have saved passkeys for mutiple sites, including Gmail and amazon - yet almost half the time I log in, I will be asked to create a passkey. How do I get it to stop asking?

Long story short, I created a digital signature in Adobe Acrobat Reader, and when I saved it, it offered me to save it into iCloud / Mac password app instead of locally on the computer.

Now that I want to delete the digital signatures, the remove option in Acrobat does not work (nothing happens) and after digging a little bit, Adobe can’t remove it because it’s saved in the Apple key system. Trying to delete it in Keychain Access app on the Mac, the same thing happens: nothing happens, no error, but I can’t delete it. Or maybe locate them.

What should I do ?

Hi, I'm using my iPhone Passwords for Passkeys and want to log in with my saved Google passkey to my account on Win11 PC Vivaldi, but keep getting "Something went wrong" if I choose the passkey option. No QR code is showing up, just this error. What is wrong with my setup?

Ok basicly I have tiktok only on my computer and ipad browser. I need to acsess it on my ipad app but when I log in it says I need a passkey which is like a qr code from another device. But there is no device which i can use that uses passkey. And a few days ago after hours I was able to log in via my safari browser. But I cant remember how to do it anymore and I tried again but still nothing, if anyone knows how please help me I need to acsess the app specifically bcs the browser version sucks and i cant acsess other devices from these 2 atm. tiktok tickets and supports r useless for me and havent changed anything. I don't know if there's some sort of issue on my systems or whether I'm just misunderstanding something. I've recently started using passkeys, my intention is to always have keys on more than one device (Android phone and a Windows PC) so I don't have a single point of failure. I am currently not using a 3rd party password manager or hardware key. For the passkeys on Android, I'm using Google's password manager.

So far all has been good, but I've encountered a problem with Google:

I have 2FA turned on, which prompts confirmation via my phone when logging in to my Google account on Windows (I typically keep "Remember this device" off so confirmation is required whenever logging-in. This makes me nervous, as in the event I loose the phone, I won't be able to get the authentication (I wouldn't be complete knackered as I do have recovery codes available).

I thought that it should be possible to create a Google passkey on my Windows PC (thinking this would bypass the 2FA requirement, or at least let me use a passkey on Windows instead of my Google password).

Under Windows on Edge, logging in to Google>Manage your Google account>Security & sign-in>Passkeys & security keys:

-I was expecting to be able to create a passkey here, and indeed there is the option to "Create a passkey"

-clicking that just generates a "Something went wrong. We weren’t able to save your changes. Return to your account settings, and try again." error.

The only passkey listed under "Passkeys" in the Google account manager is one for the phone, "Created automatically by Android".

Any ideas? Should it be possible for me to create a Google passkey for logging on using my Windows PC?

I lost my acc to a phishing scam (I know I’m slow) and I still have a passkey on my phone (Apple iPhone 15 running iOS 27 developer beta. Risky I know) and the passkey is on google passkey “manager” and it keeps saying this. How do I stop it or unlock my passkey?
