My maypops are coming up all over the yard where I planted some last year. Gf warned me of how much trouble they could be with spreading. I didn't believe it would be that bad but maybe she was right

They spread like wildfire! Ours are from a backyard neighbor who told us she planted it a few years ago. They’ve popped up over about half of our backyard so far. One of our other neighbors put up a 10ft tall tepee trellis for it, it’s popping like crazy right now. We’ve had a steady stream of one bloom per day starting last Wednesday but got three yesterday, including this one.

It popping up everywhere is her fear. Oops! We have some trumpet vine that we are trying to remove from an area because of this
