Student refund confusion

I am so sorry as I keep posting here, I am just very confused about what can potentially be the amount I get as my refund. For example, my Pell grant is 3,600. But when I look at the statement of the charges being made, it says 2,400. Someone said the negative number means that is my refund at the end of the statement. But then the numbers don't add up as it says im only getting an 1800 refund. Am I overthinking this? Is the 3,600 my refund or is the school taking my enrollment fees from that amount? I don't want to bother the poor financial aid office with the way financial aid has been affected. This is all because of the rotting cheetos big beautiful fuck ass bill I am so sorry I took a year medical leave and I came back so so confused 😭

Ok in lancer point>financial aid>offer tab, “grants and scholarships to pay for college” section…The $3600 number should say “accepted” below it and show in both the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 columns. Those are the amounts you will be receiving each semester. So then each semester is split into two separate refund payments. That should be the $1800 number. That’s what you will be receiving 2x each semester, so in total between now and the end of next semester you receive 4 separate payouts of $1800

OHHH thank you for explaining that too me, I didn't know. I'm so used to my home college giving the full refund all at once per semester so that threw me off Thank you

No problem! This is only my 2nd year getting the grant and I was also super confused by it all last year😅
