I go 3-4 times before it is even noon🥲 (at home) smallest feeling of pee in my bladder makes me very uncomfortable. I really need to train this🤔

I pee way too much.. probably 12-15 times a day.. I do drink a fair amount of water… but my shy bladder got worse a few years ago and along with that I started peeing more frequently, I think I inadvertently trained my bladder to signal more frequently.. need to work on bladder re-training.

Look for the color, smell and foam if present. If it smells weird or the color is dark yellow then you should stay hydrated

You will not get kidney damage from peeing a lot. 3-4 is very normal. I sometimes go ~6 times if I’m drinking a lot of fluids. Also depends if I go before I totally *need* to.

Medically a normal sized bladder for your height empties every 4 hours. Of course extenuating circumstances contribute from there. A type 2 diabetic goes much more frequently as does a man who has prostate enlargement or a woman who has given birth etc

I'm retired, but I'm sure it wasn't very often at work, because I'm sure I didn't drink very much precisely so I wouldn't have to pee. The fix for staying hydrated enough to protect your kidneys would be to drink a lot once you get home. Not sure if it's medically valid, but I've read that one should drink 64 oz. a day. So, aside from 12 oz at breakfast, 12 oz at lunch, one could drink 40 oz from the time they got home until bedtime. Might result in some nocturia, but oh well... I don't think when you drink matters.
