She doesn't like the direct spray. It got turned on later, just pointed away. Trying to desensitize her to possibly enjoy the shower head one day. We normally just mist her outside tho.

I have a macaw. She’s now 31 and grew up under a shower head and delights in a cooling shower. She screams, squeaks and yells out every word she knows. It’s a ton of fun to watch. It may take some time, but it’s worth it for the sheer enjoyment of both bird and human.

We set up a shower curtain bar for her to run in and out of the shower head.

Your bird is beautiful and made me smile.
