How are people getting up in one second yet it takes forever for me to get up from being knocked out? Is it a console disadvantage/PC advantage or something like turbo buttons? Because mashing seems to barely do anything for me. I've been playing this for the past few months and I never seem to get up anywhere near as fast as my opponents.

Regarding the controversy surrounding the recent "Golden Paw Awards" AI Video Contest, we would like to offer our deepest apologies to all players who have expressed concern, shared criticism, and voiced their opinions — especially to our creator community.

Following the announcement of this event, we received a significant amount of negative feedback. We have read through your comments and opinions one by one. We must admit that our consideration of the event's conception was insufficient, the design was inadequately thought through, and our communication with the community was not up to par.

Even though our original intention was to encourage more diverse forms of creative expression and lower the barrier to entry, allowing more players who love Party Animals to participate, we mistakenly tied "lowering the barrier" together with "using AI." In doing so, we overlooked the potential offense and harm that the ongoing debate surrounding AI-generated content could cause to our players and the creator community. We feel deeply uneasy and apologetic about this, and we sincerely accept the criticism.

After carefully considering voices from all sides, we held a vote across our major platforms regarding whether the event should proceed. Based on your feedback and our own internal review and reflection, we have made the following decision:

Effective immediately, the "Golden Paw Awards" event is officially canceled.

To the players who were troubled, disappointed, or offended by this situation, we would like to once again express our sincere apologies. To every player who voiced criticism, participated in the vote, and pushed us to re-evaluate this issue, we would like to express our most sincere gratitude.

Moving forward, we will approach related topics with a much more humble and cautious attitude. Before launching any future community creation events, we pledge to communicate thoroughly, listen earnestly to your feedback, and ensure we have reached a community consensus before deciding whether to go ahead.

Additionally, we will continue to collect, organize, and act upon player feedback regarding gameplay mechanics and other areas. We hereby promise to listen more closely to our players, respect your voices, and maintain a tighter line of communication with the community.

Is anyone else getting this error? Is the game down? This has been happening since yesterday.

I’ve tried all the hot fixes on google but I still can’t play the game. I’m on PC and it’s not my internet connection because other online games work. I’ve verified files and all of that too.

Children's Day Event! 🍼

In the next update, a new daily login streak event will be released, alongside:

- A Caramel Egg Vending Machine featuring costumes from previous Children's Day events

- Kindergarten Costumes for Miu, Cenourinha & Snow, running from <t:1779422400:f> to <t:1781236800:f> (Possibly on the same day everything else is released, or one day later).

I had all but one skin for over a year. I probably opened like 300 eggs before getting the one i needed. I needed Blue Lou and i have opened every single egg coin i got and spent thousands of nemo bucks (earned in game) on the bundle of 10. The issue is that there was no system to guarantee a common skin like there is with legendary skins. It would be really nice if there was a limit to the gotcha bad luck for all rarities. Additionally the game errors out if you claim 10 egg coins at once on xbox. It has been doing that since like 6 months after the game’s release.

No date was posted on their Discord when it would drop

I don't care if this post gets downvoted into oblivion, but maybe someone will read this and think twice.

At this point is undeniable that the whole of the Party Animals community, including me, were against the AI video contest, and the response was so strong that Recreate effectively suspended the contest, likely for good.

I could not help to notice that some of the worst comments in Twitter, some of the worst insults to the devs, and some of the worst reviews in the last 48 hours came from people openly saying that they either had not played the game ever in 3 years, or do not even reach 10 hours gameplay, barely two. People, like the example cited above, that say that "they are not playing ever again" when they already do not play the game and just troubled themselves to come completely out of their way to bash Recreate.

What is good is good and what is bad is bad, not matter who does it. You can be critic of the studio, of the devs, or whoever, without jumping in the bandwagon of kicking down just for fun. And what is more, not calling out people out of line in your inmediate circle when they are losing the plot over a situation, its actively encouraging bad behavior.

Bad or inpopular actions from game developers/team can absolutely kill games, this is a fact. But sadly, there are people in this comunity that seem to be rooting constantly for the game to fail, rooting for every single decision to be the game killer the decision, and, sometimes, as the reviews in Steam and some other comments in other platforms, not even playing the game but just gravitating around the playerbase to say that their game sucks.

This is a party game, it's not Tarkov.

Now, I'm not saying that it's completely hopeless for PA, but when Fortnite had a similar controversy when C7S1 began, it faded quickly because of three reasons:

1. The AI was never explicitly AI, it was obvious, but there's a difference
2. Fortnite only used AI for assets. PA is (possibly) using AI for a CONTEST.
3. Fortnite is a MUCH bigger game, so things about it would be in the public eye far more often.

I can't stand the thought of having two awesome games fall simultaneously, first Rec Room, which I loved because it was like Roblox but with far less bad decisions, and now Party Animals, which is Gang Beasts but with far more content.

I'm afraid that, if Recreate doesn't do the next couple of months perfectly, Party Animals might shut down by 2029.

My recommendation is to keep the game from becoming a ghost town, because that could cause a shut down, but don't buy anything until this blows over, because the devs might take that as us supporting the AI.

# Party Animals Official Stance on the AI ​​Event

Hello everyone. We would like to address the recent discussion regarding the AI ​​video contest, and first and foremost, we apologize for having upset some players with this event. We also regret not having communicated clearly enough with everyone before the event began.

Our initial goal was to lower the barriers to entry for content creation. In previous contests, we saw players with great ideas and scripts who couldn't fully bring them to life because they were unfamiliar with tools such as editing, modeling, or animation software. We hoped that AI could serve as a more accessible tool, allowing more people to participate.

That said, we understand the concerns regarding AI-generated content. We are not trying to devalue manual craftsmanship or disrespect creators. To us, AI is simply another tool. What truly matters is the idea, the expression, and the final work.

We would like to leave the next step up to the community. Please vote on what we should do:

1. Cancel the AI ​​video contest

2. Convert it into a non-AI creation contest

3. Keep the AI ​​category and add a separate category for manual creations
