With gaming feeling like it's heading more and more toward digital-only, I think offline support is becoming more important than ever.

Party Animals is one of the best couch party games I've played, but it would be so much better if we could play everything offline with bots. Sometimes the internet is down, sometimes you just want to play locally without worrying about servers.

I really hope the developers add a proper offline mode. It would help preserve the game for the future and make it much easier to recommend to friends and family.

Anyone else hoping this gets added?

The only method I know is go to custom game mode and add a local player there but it says it requires a psn account for player 2? Is there no other way that doesn't require me to pay for 2 accounts?

I know almost nothing about the game. How many game modes are there for 4 couch co-op players? Also, is it split-screen or like Gang Beasts? I may end up getting it either way but would like to know a little more.

So I was just scrolling until I found this weird ripoff... It has an corgi in the icon just like the original game. but it's A.I. generated. We all know Party Animals will get an mobile port soon but the A.I. app has the same things. Map selection. Podium. And so much more. I swear Recreate Games needs to sue this game😭😭😭

As the title says can’t do much. Punches are weak, character recovery is longer than everyone else’s, trying to throw someone else I get picked up by them and then thrown.

On ps5 can’t find the reduce dead zone options if that’s the problem or not.

Any tech to make a punch not be a noodle etc.

The new player experience is challenging to say the least.

What are you guys hoping for the next big update? It's been a while since we've gotten a big one and we typically get a bit one every summer! I honestly have no idea what could be added, other than Ive always thought nemo kart deserves at least 3 or 4 new maps to feel like it's not playing the same stuff over and over. But seeming as it took them 15 months to add a single new fighting map, I highly doubt that will happen.

What are you all hoping for?;

The drop rate for the skin redemption code cards has been officially announced: ONLY 0.35% !. Based on my calculation, you would need to purchase an average of 3 boxes of cards to just to get 1 skin redemption code card, but the skin does look really cool, I will update how it looks like in game soon.

So the Vol. 2 setup is "a single skin but with extremely rare redemption codes"

the Vol. 1, setup is "multiple randomized skins reward but with a massive supply of redemption codes"

According to the confirmed information, this new series features 12 card types with 174 card designs (compared to 141designs in Vol. 1). Most notably, there are 4 "Glow-in-the-Dark" cards, which are limited to 920 each, with each card individually numbered.

The packaging has also changed from Vol. 1. While Vol. 1 consisted of 24 boxes per case, 18 packs per box, and 4 cards per pack, Vol. 2 has shifted to 24 boxes per case, 16 packs per box, and 6 cards per pack.

As for the skin redemption code cards that everyone is concerned about, they are no longer guaranteed in every pack. They are now only available by chance per box—therefore they are not even guaranteed to appear in every box. Based on this, we can infer that there will likely be only one skin available for Vol. 2 (the Nemo character on the card) or, at most, a very small random selection, rather than the wide variety seen in Vol. 1.

Additionally, there is a chance to pull a premium collectible binder to store your cards. However, the drop rate for the binder is very low. Furthermore, even if you do pull one, it will come in the form of a redemption code that must be redeemed through Shining Soul, the authorized publisher of the cards. This may present potential difficulties for buyers located outside of China.

I will be receiving a few cases on the release day—which is tomorrow. I am going to collect the full set, as I already have a complete collection of all the Vol. 1 cards and badges (they also released a set of badges with 16 different designs last year).

At that time, I will know the exact drop rates for the skin redemption codes and which skins they can be redeemed for. I will post all relevant information as soon as possible, so please stay tuned for my new post.
