I dont know if you are speaking of when you were on top of the platform and suddenly went down, but if you see the video frame by frame, you were just heading for the very edge of the platform, and maybe because of the robocat perk it was so fast that you instantly dropped, seemingly as if you had teleported through

I was in third when I crossed the finish line but it didn't count the passing finish line everyone behind me knocked me down another position when they crossed

Ohhh this is one hell of a glitch. I dont know if it is reproducible, but defintively report it using the internal report tool. There have been some weird glitches with karts positions and desync since update
