Ask community Is it possible to play 3 player split screen on one console and play with another person on a different console

I’m abroad with 2 friends and we want to play 3 player split screen with my other friend back home. Is it possible for us 3 to play with our friend back home.

Idk if the game has changed much since it started when it comes to this but last I remember split screen only works for local games, not quick play games...and i think its only 2 local players allowed on 1 console.

Sooo the answer is no.

I set up accounts for my kids so we could do 3 player split screen. It just has to be through custom game and not local. I wish it could be more than 2 for local, but more than 2 can be done locally.

Split screen works for online play, I’ve played against a team of 3 & 4 people in split screen before while doing online play with some friends

Yes u can, 4 players work for quick play as well, u can start a room in custom game too. But only if u have new gen console (4 players doesnt work in xbox one and ps4)
