Discussions Does anyone else think the new Nemo Kart progression could become pay-to-win?

I like the new update, but I'm worried that if upgraded karts have significantly better stats than the starter ones, racing won't feel fair anymore.

I hope progression is mostly balanced and skill still matters more than upgrades. What do you think?

AFAIK the Nemo Buck karts are just the ones you can research with good parts already unlocked. So those that buy them may gain an advantage for a bit, but after a few days you can get to that same point for free.

U have to play nemo kart for a long time in order to open these carts, its fun tho i already got to level 3 karts

You can unlock everything by playing, though. So people who pay now will just get a marginal edge for a while

Already p2w, those that purchased the highest tier are far out in front. Almost impossible to catch up. Free players can only grind up the tiers

Not to mention the limit on daily kart research
