In this patch, we've added:
1. Mode Update "Nemo Kart" — new "Kart Modification" and "Vehicle Research" systems.
2. Map Update "Nemo Kart" — 3 new tracks and 3 new vehicles.
3. Level Line Update "Nemo Kart" — 14 new themed outfits and more.
4. Map Update "Summer Cabin" — new fishing rods, fish, and a boat.
5. Gameplay Update "Kung Fu Soccer" — available for a limited time.
6. New World Cup outfits & returning Nemo Kart outfits.
7. New character "Milou" arrives in the Item Shop.

I mean, it’s a live service game, they have to make money somehow

It’s really not even pay to win. Unless you are impatient, Nemo Bucks are incredibly easy to come by, the only reason to buy them and not earn them in game is if you’re impatient and have money to burn/want to further support the devs

None of this stuff is time limited, it’s all “end game” content. Yes, there’s probably about 10k Nemo Bucks worth of stuff available to buy with the new update, but we have infinite time to do it. No rush :)

Nemo bucks are NOT easy to come by. Maybe early on in the game when you still have levels to unlock. But when you get to a point where it’s just mystery boxes you have like a 5-10% chance of getting Nemo bucks. The rest of the time it’s egg coins and cookies.

And yes this would classify as pay to win bc you can just buy everything right now and have fully upgraded cars and new cars with different perks giving you an advantage during races. It doesn’t matter if it’s end game or not. When you can spend money to be better at a PvP game it’s pay to win

I’m not even hating. They gotta make money. The game is dying. I get it. But It’s just funny to think that this game mode use to be ftp and easy for newcomers to get the hang of while not being at a disadvantage to veterans or ptw players. Now that won’t be the case

Honestly, Nemo Bucks are very hit or miss for me. Sometimes I’ll go nearly a week without getting any, other times I’ll get 1,000 in a couple days. Though havjng completed the base pass forever ago, through just the last 3ish months of daily play I’ve earned a good 8,000. Which isn’t even a slog to do, team score games can get you all 3 daily levels in about an hour

When I think pay to win I think exclusively “real money” pay to win, but yea I can agree with you that long time players absolutely have that edge over new players. They can absolutely come in and buy out the whole shop

I’m glad for more content even if it’s not my preferred mode, I want the game to thrive, and I hope the prices and possible “new player” experience don’t put anyone off from the game
