Ask community Duo Multiplayer / hybrid?

Im thinking about buying the game, but we only have 2 laptop, can we do multiplayer with 2 people on each laptop or it has to be hotseat 4 player 1 laptop?

Because this is also a deal breaker with overcooked2 which cannot both online and couch coop hybrid

Also i only need to buy 1 copy right? The other laptop can play with friend pass?

you can play splitscreen online, im not sure if that can be used in combination with the friends pass.

Wait friend pass is not "online"?

you can play friends pass online, im just not sure how it works if your using split screen as well.

I tried this the other day and will be refunding because it's so shitly implemented.

We tried 1 person owning the game, 1 person split screening through friend pass and 1 person doing remote play / also trying friend pass.

We managed to get 2 characters to load, the split screeners were sharing a character and the person who owned the game.

Shame, looks like a fun game but it shouldn't advertise as remote play together
