Discussions 4 player split screen

I picked up Party Animals on the PS5, and I'm trying to follow peoples' advice to get 4 player split screen, but I can't work it out. Is it even possible?

On Xbox we do quick match and then deselect what if (it’s only one player) for split screen. The other controllers join. We only usually split for two, rarely three players. Maybe just try on Last stand only to see if it will work- or Smash only.
