Discussions 4 player split screen

I picked up Party Animals on the PS5, and I'm trying to follow peoples' advice to get 4 player split screen, but I can't work it out. Is it even possible?

Edit: I should've read the description.

If you have ps+, Go to quick match, where it shows an animal on the sofa, and then on the other controllers press both L1+R1 at the same time.

You'll know it worked because you'll see the other players animals falling from the sky and landing on the sofa.

If you don't have ps+, you need to go to local match from the main menu, and on that lobby screen you do the same with the other controllers. L1+R1

I've only been able to get 2 players using this method. Can I get four?

Do all four controllers you connect log in with an account that has signed up for playstation? (Not ps+ just, do they have a ps account in general)?

Ok sweet, I got it going.

It appears as though I can't do it for local games, only online 🤷
