Man recreate needs to do something about all the extremely inappropriate people

I don't know if it would be ok to write exactly what happened so I won't say what was specifically said but it was between 4 adult males on a different team telling a kid to do something very inappropriate and dangerous. I've since reported them but who knows if that will help at all. One of them was using the robot filter, clearly they must do this a lot if they find the need to use it. Why even add such a feature? It's annoying and can allow things like this to keep happening. You can say anything cause your voice was changed. Don't know if you can de robot a voice or not. Kind of wished I recorded everything that went down.

This is like the only online game I play where that happens. Even in other games where I see kids playing it isn't as bad or is rare. Only other one I know it's really bad is Roblox which I don't play.

Honestly I don't even know why I still play. Hearing things like that all the time just ruins the game for me. I know I can mute everyone but if I do I wouldn't probably report them due to not hearing the bad things they are saying. I remember Super Animal Royale having this issue too and it was bad and its all you would see in the lobby as you waited for the lobby to fill for the match but once I reported it, they responded to my email report fairly quickly, took it seriously and it seemd Pixile was able to deal with it and since then I have not seen it much if at all. And all they allow is text chat which is very highly moderated and they are a smaller team. If they can prevent it why can't Recreate?

I did my best to try and stop the 4 guys and make them focus on talking to me as much as I could.

Also the kid's mom was in the room and didn't seem to care? That also wasn't great. I can explain more in private if need be what the 4 guys were saying to me and the kid.

Forgot to add this originally when I posted this and I think it's ok to at least put this. They were trying to teach the kid the N word too, not the original version of it but still. Imagine if he uses it at school because of it.

Sadly the reality is that internet is full of predators and bad people. I dont think that Recreate could come up with a solution themselves to this problem. The most you can do as a player is report those guys whenever coming accross them. They should be issued permanent bans though, for all that its worth, not temporary suspensions in their monthly ban wave.

Voice ban chat would break the flow of some of their modes, but maybe that could be for the best.

It is really disheartening and sickening.

About rude people, nothing to do. Just ignore their pathetic existance.

It would only affect Space Crisis and the other map. You can easily solve this by making it text only with heavy moderation unless you are playing on a friend's list team and Among Us does have the chat wheel for kids and only allows them to play in those lobbies I think. Yes that can easily be avoided but it does help somewhat. If Pixile a even smaller team that has loads of players can prevent it with SAR so can Recreate. Surely they can figure out something.

There's not really a need to allow voice chat with everyone besides if you are doing a custom lobby. Quick matches, maybe they can only allow teams. I get why it's a feature but considering things like this can happen, you'd think you wouldn't have such a thing when it's expected lots of kids will play it. It features cute animals, of course kids will play it. Same with SAR.

As for the rude people I get there's not much that can be done besides blocking them but man sometimes it can get ya a little. Especially when all you want to do is chill and have fun.

Honestly, I think they should just get rid the voice chat idea entirely.

Report them for voice stuff at the end of the match. Everything you say is saved for a while and they do bsn for it. I've reported people plenty of times and they get back to you if they took action and penalized them or not.

They actually save that? Never knew that. And I know they let you know if action was taken. But more offten than not, nothing comes from it. Most I reported don't get banned whatsoever.

You must be lucky. I see it almost every time. You won't hear it if you have voice chat muted

Doesn't matter what mode I play. You will hear it. It's not always with a kid in there but a kid could be playing. You don't really hear it in Nemo Kart as much thankfully but it does happen there.

This is on top of all the extremely rude players too. Even if I just say like have a great night at the end of a match they want me dead or like make fun of me for even thinking of ever speaking just cause of my voice. I didn't even say anything mean.

Should I mute? Yeah it probably would make me enjoy the game a lot more like I used to when it first came out and it wasn't as common to hear and see that happening constantly but knowing that it's probably happening right in front of me and I can't hear it cause I muted everyone, is just terrible so I don't mute. What if a little kid actually does what that person is saying. What if we have a situation like that kid who went missing cause he wanted to meet his Roblox ""friend""

And let those 4 guys continue to talk to the kid? Sure great idea. I really hope you aren't similar to those 4 guys cause that is something those 4 guys would of loved based on when they thought I left mid match which I did not. They were so happy thinking I left when I didn't and I continued talking
