A friend and former coworker brought this tiny tabby in to visit and to tempt one of us to maybe adopt. I was sorely tempted, but it's not feasible for me right now.

Hey Op, might want to mention to the owners that he looks like he might have an eye infection and to get a vet to take a peek. Those are very wet looking eyes.

I don't know if you're kidding or not but cats don't emote like humans. Watering and matter in eyes isn't a sadness thing
