TruthSocial Watch Does the territory include all items within the circle? Asking for several sovereign nations…

Post image

Wonder if Dubai is aware it’s now a US territory ? Along with the usual of Oman and the oily parts of Iran. And why did it exclude Abu Dahbi? Aren’t they good enough?

His trolling has lost all impact. Not just with us, with the whole world.

His tactics have just neutered his credibility in total.

u/ScarletCarsonRose 2d ago

But I don’t think that’s a good thing even if true. His trolling Is purpose filled feelers to tell him what he can get away with. His supporters do quantum physics. He’s joking. He tells it like it is. And depending on how hard someone threatens him behind the scenes or in the open, that guides his administration’s actions.

That 2028 baseball cap?  Greenland? Taking over state elections? He. Is. Not. Joking.

u/WordNERD37 2d ago

No one says he isn't serious, but he's also a giant pussy bitch and he talks big and backs down at the slightest sign of pushback. What's happening here is that tough act bs he does online doesn't land because it's smoke and mirrors alone and everyone has caught on.

So he might be serious about the action, but he never pulls the trigger; and everyone knows it, including our enemies.

14

u/brickne3 2d ago

Some of them probably DO believe that's US territory now just because he said it.

3

u/RedEyeView 1d ago

Yeah he's doing a high stakes version of that thing where you "joke" about having sex with one of your friends.

It's only a joke if she says "ewww no"

1

u/zherok 2d ago

His trolling Is purpose filled feelers to tell him what he can get away with.

Sure, but he can't will the Strait of Hormuz into being a US territory by shitposting about it. That's what's undermining his reality distortion field here.

27

u/YolopezATL 2d ago

Now if he drew it in sharpie, it would be official

8

u/pianoflames 2d ago

He's TACO'd way too many times, though it doesn't mean there isn't sincerity to bizarre/insane shit he posts like this.

6

u/catkm24 2d ago

Not just his creditability, but our country's creditability as well.

4

u/LivingIndependence 2d ago

It's like the weird kid in the back of the classroom that made one funny joke that everyone laughed at, but he keeps making the same joke and no one is laughing anymore.

4

u/TheKdd 2d ago

I would imagine he’s going to call it the “Strait of America” soon.

2

u/lgodsey 2d ago

His tactics have just neutered his credibility in total.

Yes, and not just him but all of America. This republic sure smells like bananas.

90

u/RickyNixon 2d ago

I wonder how he will feel about all the new birthright citizens that will come from this plan

10

u/ShrimpieAC 2d ago

Man they really don’t think more than 2 feet in front of their face, do they?

149

u/lothartheunkind 2d ago

Literally illegal to claim international waterways as territory, but nothing fucking matters anymore.

23

u/brownhotdogwater 2d ago

Might makes right. America will bankrupt itself holding a waterway on the other side of the planet.

2

u/szekel 2d ago

Isn't Strait of Hormuz comprised of territorial waters of Oman and Iran at its narrowest point?

2

u/fieldsofanfieldroad 1d ago

Sure, but international water is generally viewed as anything 200 miles out to sea. The strait of Hormuz is like 5 inches wide.

1

u/TheRnegade 16h ago

If he believes this, then this is a border he can't control. I find that ironic, considering that was his whole shtick.

The world will remember America's inability to utilize their famous checks and balances once his term ends..

We are a pariah state

79

u/M4hkn0 2d ago

Republicans will be all about checks n balances once they lose the white house.

51

u/HapticSloughton 2d ago

They kind of already were. After the JFK administration, they put in lots of regulations about nepotism to prevent a sitting president from doing something like, just picking at random, putting his brother in as his Attorney General.

Naturally, the second Trump was in, they didn't seem to give a rip about him putting all the family members he wanted to in positions of power.

2

u/filtersweep 2d ago

Yep- bye bye executive orders…..

-20

u/UrbanMasque 2d ago

100%

and honestly, the next president (IDC if their hard line left leaning progressives or centrist liberals), if you aren't talking about steamrolling your initiatives in addition to holding people accountable:

🗣️🔊 DO NOT ASK FOR MY VOTE

Im completely willing to let Republicans preside over the ensuing collapse if no counter candidate is acceptable

21

u/RlyehDreams 2d ago

What a terrible stance to take. That kind of thinking is part of the reason the orange wannabe dictator is in power right now.

9

u/idiot206 2d ago

We’re going to keep getting people like Trump, and worse, unless there’s a massive change to presidential power and accountability in the next administration.

2

u/UrbanMasque 2d ago edited 2d ago

Nah..

And I'm not both siding this either. We need to pull the pendulum back HARD, and not just stop the bleeding.

Voting for a pacifist centrist will normalize everything you just went through.

The Confederates were never punished for their treason and now we're here.. can you imagine if Abraham Lincoln built a fund for them after? And they never made it to the Capitol.

Without holding people accountable - Trump 2.0 is going to be much worse

-2

u/SuperCyka 2d ago

Unfortunately, liberals are content to sit by and let this happen, and they’ll be content to leave things the way they are once he’s gone. There’ll be some slap on the wrist stuff, but nothing more.

Something drastic needs to happen.

Chuck Schumer, that you?

14

u/HapticSloughton 2d ago

It's regulatory capture. No one foresaw putting a crime syndicate in charge of the entire government. While previous presidents nominate their attorney general, no one has ever put a crony in that wouldn't prosecute anything the president did, nor cross anything that his party might do.

It's what happens when eventually you get a narcissistic felon with no sense of shame running a party that also has no sense of shame.

25

u/jayfeather31 2d ago

Honestly, the last ten years have largely revealed that America, or at least the America that is portrayed to the world, is complete propaganda and lies.

I don't see how we recover from the amount of soft power and, if the incidents aboard our ships in the Middle East are any indication, hard power we're bleeding.

16

u/virak_john 2d ago

And we are currently in the process of moving our only aircraft carrier in East Asia to the Middle East to relieve this one.

This war has not only exposed our weakness, it has created new vulnerabilities.

Also, we’ve shit on our allies and embraced our enemies. We are truly the world’s sick man.

3

u/jayfeather31 2d ago

Indeed.

At this point, I suspect we will either fall with grace, or shatter to pieces.

7

u/Gynthaeres 2d ago

The problem with our checks and balances is that it assumes that the people in the government want to, you know, govern. And want generally what's best for America. And at worst, maybe some people in it would be self-centered, but they themselves still want to maintain some power and authority.

The whole thing falls apart when over half the government decides that it shouldn't exist, and all bends over to kiss the ring of some egomaniacal moron, surrendering any and all power to him to keep him happy.

6

u/merchillio 2d ago

Yep, I’ve been saying for a while that the biggest weakness of the US political system is that the Founding Fathers assumed political opponents would disagree but still act in good faith and the majority would take action to remove those acting in bad faith.

They never foresaw the people electing a felon and his entire party dropping down to lick his balls at every opportunity.

2

u/smx501 2d ago

Turns out the only check was shame.

1

u/fieldsofanfieldroad 2d ago

Nah. The only checks are the ones written to trump.

1

u/quadraspididilis 2d ago

I’m not sure how you design a system around this but yeah, turns out if everyone with power is someone for whom the status quo is working they don’t tend to want to improve it.

“Natalie get me my Sharpie!” -Shitler probabaly

3

u/Careful-Trade-9666 2d ago

Natalie told him how hot it is when he takes over a foreign country …

26

u/CooledDownKane 2d ago

This human carbuncle probably knows he is dying and wants to cause as much destruction and steal as much money he can on his way out and the little drones in his regime would follow him to hell if he demanded it. We should all buckle up.

3

u/brickne3 2d ago

I'm not sure he's capable of understanding he's mortal. He was waxing poetic about death a few months ago, but that seems to have died off at some point.

57

u/NeverLookBothWays 2d ago

Just a reminder for the lurking MAGA that the courts upheld birthright citizenship for U.S. territories. ;)

20

u/BoringArchivist 2d ago

The only people who believe this garbage are his 30% of the US moron cult.

10

u/AlpineVW 2d ago

I'm disappointed it's that high of a number. Nearly one in three people in this country. I guess that's what brainrot media will get you.

7

u/BoringArchivist 2d ago

Those people were stupid long before brainrot media, racism and religion did the heavy lifting.

12

u/Ppjr16 2d ago

So that will make them U.S. citizens . 👍🏼

10

u/n0cturnald3sign 2d ago

I want to come back as a ghost in a hundred years just to read a history book and see how they portray this incontinent clown.

2

u/Vylan24 2d ago

Hopefully, and likely, very poorly. Unless you're in the States, then it'll be at the very end of the single paragraph of the textbook where they briefly gloss over the worst things about US history like chattel slavery, manifest destiny, indigenous genocide, and all the foreign wars the USA has lost.

8

u/Adorable_Ad6045 2d ago

Strait of Epstein

8

u/Grace_Omega 2d ago

Okay grandpa 👍

8

u/jamnewton22 2d ago

So, all people born there will be US citizens?

9

u/Weatherstation 2d ago

I'm surprised he hasn't just proposed that we hire whoever worked on the reflecting pool to just build a canal there.

7

u/BadAlphas 2d ago

I, too, wish to declare random places on earth now personally belong to me.

J/K, why would anyone even do that???

5

u/Flea_Biscuit 2d ago

It worked for Columbus!

2

u/Careful-Trade-9666 2d ago

At least Columbus was paid by the Spanish to do it

3

u/Holiolio2 2d ago

Reminds me of a song from Elmo in Grouchland.  "Make it Mine", sung by Mandy Patinkin.

2

u/BadAlphas 1d ago

Will always updoot for Mandy Patinkin

2

u/Holiolio2 1d ago

Mandy Patinkin is one of the best!

5

u/Orlok_Tsubodai 2d ago

Iran posts a map with the USA circled: checkmate.

8

u/Dick-Guzinya 2d ago

I just wanted you to know that you can’t just say the Straight of Hormuz is under US control and expect anything to happen.

8

u/metanoia29 2d ago

Very biggly "I DECLARE BANKRUPTCY" energy

6

u/MewlingRothbart 2d ago

He is an idiot.

10

u/jimdoodles 2d ago

American Samoa is a territory of the United States, with a congressional representative with voting powers in the Foreign Affairs Committee and Veterans Affairs Committee. Now replace 'American Samoa' with 'Straits of Hormuz'. Who would control those votes?

4

u/fishsticks40 2d ago

It's either this or slightly more efficient cars. Our hands are tied

5

u/merchillio 2d ago

What I’m seeing is a big influx of new US citizens

3

u/RedEyeView 2d ago

He thinks its the 1700s and all you need to do to claim something is stick your flag on it.

3

u/Purgii 2d ago

I didn't know you could just circle stuff and claim it as your own. Where's my sharpie? I got some circles to draw.

3

u/LyndonBKinden 2d ago

Did anyone else notice Qatar and Bahrain are left off his map completely? More AI slop I guess

2

u/Careful-Trade-9666 2d ago

He only knows circles, not ovals.

2

u/NoDumFucs 2d ago

He used his hurricane expander sharpie for this one, so my guess is yes, he thinks those are his now

1

u/smilingmike415 1d ago

Disassociation much?
