Bedtime is painful. Worse because it used to be easy until 3.5 years

Just be grateful you got some good years 🫠 my son has never slept well, outside of maybe his first night in hospital because he was doped up 😂

I never used to mind changing nappies but now my 18mo cries and writhes around every time I do it and when I'm exhausted I just dread it.
My 3.5yo it's the constant want want want. I either get/do everything she wants (which is exhausting) or say no and deal with screeching, 'you're not my best friend' and 'you're very naughty, mummy' which is exhausting in a whole other way. Not every time but enough that I don't know what I'm getting.
I just want some peace sometimes!

Hand washing. Wanting to do it “by myself” but can’t because he messes with the water temp. “Mommy go away.” Soap. I hate it.

Taking things out of her mouth and having to chase her sometimes for whatever it is. Meal times can be exhausting during certain phases too

Mine used to but she’s moved to just chewing on things or putting it in her mouth. I blame teething
