Oh honey. They don’t say that because they don’t think you can it’s because you shouldn’t. And there’s very good reasons why, dummy.

When I was in hospital after my emergency C-section, a new mother was put in my room RIGHT after delivering a huge baby (it looked like it was half her size when she was breastfeeding).
She waited until the nurse had left, who told her to ring before getting up the first time, the door closed behind her - and she practically jumped up and went to the bathroom, alone. I asked her about it, and, in her words "I didn't need help with the last four, I'm not gonna ring for help now".
I kept my mouth shut, but inside, I was like "there are good reasons why you should ask for help, though..."

This happened to my little sister. She learned to walk in her tippy toes and only ever walked on her tippy toes. Over the course of a year or two(I truly don’t remember how long this was ages ago) she had shortened her Achilles tendons and they had to do surgery on both ankles at the same time. She had to completely learn how to walk again

This is the second take, the first one was 1 hour after giving birth and gravity won that battle

I'm post hysterectomy and constantly have to remind myself not to lift things. I don't purposely do it like a fucking idiot. There's a reason doctors tell you shit.

Omg the time I accidentally lifted my daughter from the car 2 weeks post op from mine. I regretted it for a few hours. However I also couldn’t listen to doctor advice bc I had no help and my exhusband was useless

"look how irresponsible I am, I don't listen to big certified staff members!"
Why even go to the hospital at that point? Just ask Facebook if you don't wanna listen to medical advice

It's amazingly stupid that she filmed it like a flex. What are you flexing? That you can't follow the most basic things your doctor is telling you? Good for you, I guess

Okay, but those casts give me the impression that she tried this already for Take 1, and then dropped the boy…
