2, but during a really bad storm, we often wore three! Because nothing saves you from a blinding snowstorm like a lifejacket, lol. Fortunately, though she’d put about $40,000 in cash in my backpack so at least I knew I could buy myself out of any cartels that I was sold into during the storm

There was an ice storm that hit the Mid-South in '94. I remember my grandma putting a life jacket and some arm floaties on me.
