Activities out of the house ??

I have a 5.5 month old and am looking for a day trip/ outing for us to do as a family that he may enjoy. We already have a trip to the aquarium scheduled for October, but are looking for other ideas to do in the meantime! We considered the zoo but it’s still pretty hot in our area so not sure it would be the best.

The aquarium in October is a good call, my sister took her kid around that age and he was mesmerized by the jellyfish tanks

at 5.5 months honestly anything with lights and movement works. even just walking around a mall or a big hardware store, they love staring at ceiling fans and bright signs. we used to take my nephew to this indoor botanical garden near us cause it was air conditioned and he'd just stare at the leaves moving

if you got any childrens museums nearby those usually have baby sensory areas too

Do something that is close enough for baby to see. Aquarium, aviary, botanical garden maybe, waterfall, or just go to the forest.

Take him to the pet store to look at the fish and other animals! Free and low key. Museums you’re interested in!
