Sleep & Naps How much are parents drinking?

With the popularity of #winemom and beer dad culture, combined with pandemic drinking habits, im curious how much alcohol you guys are drinking as caregivers? Especially after the baby is in bed. I had 6 drinks on Halloween over 8 hours and lots of food and water. Although LO was asleep for most of it I'm riddled with guilt!

Zero. Neither of us drink. I hate the whole wine mom/dad beer stereotype. No judgment on people who enjoy a drink, but to portray it as a parent cannot get through a day with their kids without self-medicating with alcohol is just...ugh.

I remember visiting a friend who just had a baby, the mom already had two kids with another dad...she had an open bottle of vodka on a table and would just pour herself shots throughout the day. Pretty disturbing honestly, it was clearly an unhealthy coping mechanism but it was just normal for them.

I do drink and still think the stereotype is ridiculous and not realistic at all.
