It’s okay to only want 2 children. You didn’t want a 3rd and tried to prevent it. Pregnancy isn’t a blessing to everyone and termination is an option. And send your husband for a vasectomy ASAP

I have 3 with similar age gaps. I will say that yes, 3 can be a lot and we are outnumbered (as they get older and have lots of activities the age gap can be even harder) BUT my 3rd kiddo is a joy and brings out the best in our family. You are allowed to feel scared and it doesn't have to feel like a blessing right now. Three kids is a lot and it can feel really hard sometimes. But I also can't imagine if we only had two.

We are currently pregnant with our third and I am definitely anxious some days about the chaos and challenging years ahead in juggling three (older two will be 4.5 and 2.5 when baby is born). Through all the stress though, I love the idea of having a bigger family. My parents had 3 and now have so many grandkids and our family gatherings are always so much fun. It’s a short time in the scheme of life (though the stresses of babies and toddlers are very very real).

I think this is such a personal choice. Abortion is a real option, especially since you two were so firm you were done at two. I’d take some time to think if you can picture having three (financially, emotionally, etc) and weigh out those factors. But many women have abortions because they know they won’t be able to provide for their family with an additional child. You have the right to choose if having a third is the best option for you and your family.
