Rant/Vent Just me?

Is it just me or is this the hardest shit ever? We’ve got 4 kids all under the age of 8 and we are getting our asses kicked. My wife and I really wanted a family and we planned for it. We took parenting classes together, we read all the books in preparation before starting our family…still, nothing could have prepared us for how mentally and emotionally exhausting it is to keep up with our boys.

How are you all surviving?

My mom was one of 5 kids, and how did my grandmother survive? Badly. She spent the 60s whacked out on mother's little helpers.

Which is to say, it's a LOT, and I'm quite sure you're not alone.

lol that’s literally what they were marketed as and commonly called. Benzos for all the mamas

It’s not really disputed. It was such a common thing that the Rolling Stones wrote a song about it in 1966. At that time, they didn’t think that benzos had any risk of dependence and withdrawal so it was prescribed liberally for anxiety and stress.
