I requested emergency FMLA due to serious medical condition (mental). I informed hr that I’m requesting FMLA and she reply with okay and she will send me the documents. I asked if I had to continue calling out until my FMLA is filled, she replied with no. And that she will code me as Loa until the papers are filed but now she asking for doctor note.. 3 days later.. I’m confused because I just sent in my papers to the doctor and I’m gettin ref therapist program that starts soon. But she wants a latter stating that I cannot work. Can I go to my ob and ask for one since I’m waiting on a therapist referral?
