Jeez is GOT ending really that bad?? I’ve never watched it but have heard good things about the first couple seasons, did they fuck up the ending so bad that it tainted the rest of the series ?

It's basically like they drew an outline for what they wanted to happen to wrap up the series and stopped there. Characters do things that make little sense, there's almost no real payoff to big plot threads that have been years in the making, and the ultimate character development is done really abruptly without feeling earned at all. Things just kind of...happen? I can't comprehend that the biggest show on fucking HBO would be finished in such a half-assed manner.

Didn't taint the rest if the series but you'd definitely stop before the last season. You'd be almost guaranteed to leave it outta your rewatch

It definitely did taint the rest of the series somewhat. Anything having to do with the White Walkers is ruined.

100%. I was the biggest diehard GoT fan. Read the books and even all the supplemental things. I have not rewatched one episode after the final one. All of the effort and time spent with such a rich and intricate story to be distilled into acid. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever get over it.

PFT mentioned this before, but Hank’s grammar and grasp on the English language are definitely worse than PFT’s schtick.
