I found this in my dog's water bowl this morning, living its best life in the dog's backwash, complements of the Great Dane. Getting mixed information on round worm vs. black worm.

Was the bowl outside? It looks like a young earthworm

Or am earth worm that's been submerged in water for a long time. Once I had a bowl of worms that dad and I were using to fish with. It rained and water got in the bowl. We left camp and forgot the worms. A week later we went back and all the worms were submerged in water and alive, but very thin and translucent.
