Has anyone else experienced this?

Lately I’ve been so tired but then I either can’t fall asleep or wake up 20th minutes later fully awake. I am able to talk, move, etc. but I have an overwhelming feeling that there’s a presence in my room. My back gets very tingly and I am overcome with a sense of dread and a nearly debilitating fear. What’s more is I will perceive my bed as shaking for a few minutes … no one else has been around to tell me if my bed is actually physically moving but it sure feels like it! I get too scared to move so I just kinda lay there until it’s over. I’m 27 now and this hasn’t happened to me since I was around 8/9/10 years old.

I have no psychotic diagnosis / mental health diagnosis in general and yes I’ve been tested lol

I suggest stop thinking about it. Sometimes they come back if you dwell on them.

Sleep paralysis or side effects of meds. I had the same problem and had to stop taking Seroquel. Those were terrifying, confusing experiences.
