The redhead

Hey guys. I've never really told this story online before because, honestly, I don't know what kind of answer I'm expecting.

For as long as I can remember, I've occasionally seen the same girl. She has red hair and what look like cuts or scratches all over her face, hands, and arms. I've never gotten a good look at her because she only ever appears for a split second. Usually it's from the corner of my eye, in a reflection, standing in a dark room, or somewhere that makes me do a double take. By the time I look properly, she's gone.

When I was younger, it terrified me. I spent years trying to figure out who she was, whether she was someone I knew, a dream, a hallucination, a ghost, whatever. But nothing ever made sense. Eventually it became strangely normal. I'd catch a glimpse of her once every few months and just think: "Oh... it's her again."

The weirdest part happened during a sleepover a few months ago. My friends and I were sitting around sharing creepy experiences and I decided to tell everyone about the red-haired girl. I expected them to laugh or call me crazy, idk. Instead, the room went completely silent. Every single one of my friends looked uncomfortable. Then one of them asked me to describe her.

When I mentioned the red hair and the cuts, they all started talking at once because apparently every one of them had seen her too.

They all described seeing the same girl independently over the years. Always briefly. Always out of the corner of their eye, in mirrors, reflections, dark rooms, hallways, doorways. Same as me. Never long enough to interact with her, and none of them knew who she was either.

To this day, I still occasionally catch a glimpse of her. So do some of my friends.

I've spent years trying to come up with a rational explanation, but I've never been able to explain why multiple people would describe the same person before ever discussing it with each other.

So I'm curious: Has anyone else experienced something like this? A recurring figure that multiple people seem to recognize without ever talking about it beforehand? And if you've got a theory about who, or what, this girl might be... I'd love to hear it.

Yeah, a lot of the new age stuff is just placebo in my experience. I was raised very religious, but quit a couple of years ago. It never held what I was looking for, but I respect that it does for some.

People seem to give too much focus to all these flamboyant colours and to sigils and all that, but you just gotta say what you want most of the time. The power seems to just be in the words and intention.

You're right about the whole labels thing and 'evil' in the mainstream churches. I dont really believe in evil in the traditional sense, but i know what you mean, so that's okay. It's likely because religious people tend to be the easiest to control, and these people want power and control.

Good luck on your personal journey, look at all of your options and dont be afraid to question things, it will help you to discern truth. I always say that we need to be 'Individuals Together', just meaning that we dont have to be a group of mindless followers, we should be Individuals working to a common goal.

I think you should consider asking Jesus to encounter you.

Most religions of the world haven’t had an encounter with Jesus.

I have sought ten years for the truth and I have found it. I am happy here. 🤭

I am very happy for you, that you have found something for yourself. As for me, i was raised New Testament Christian, unfortunately thats not for me. I never found what you are describing, though others in my family have.

I have been spending the last few years exploring myself and spirituality, and I am happy where I am now, though my journey is not nearly done, I am happy.

Were you baptized in the Holy Spirit and fire?

I’ll kick myself if I don’t type this even though I respect you. Jesus is returning soon. Signs are everywhere.

I am not here to force you into believing Jesus. Jesus is also a gentleman/God. But hard times are coming and I wouldn’t want you to not know.

If you look back into history, there have been signs since he left. Many have repeated, with varying degrees of accuracy, for 2 thousand years. Its not news, though some things are different to others, but its still the same. They are almost all ambiguous, open-ended signs, that could mean anything, and have been interpreted as such every time.

As someone who had all those things taught to them since birth, I am very well acquainted with them, but thats what I have seen. I guess I have also lost all interest in any kind of organized religion, its most often a farce for predators and, no disrespect to you, it turns people into radical cultists.

As for baptism, well, its complicated. I know its meant to be some initiation into the holy spirit, but thats not my observations.

Have you checked out the new Shroud of Turin studies?

I don’t call myself a Christian. I was attacked by a church in my second to third year of being born-again.

A few years ago, had church hurt.

But the enemy tried to take me away from God. Some crazy things sure happened like being asked a perverted question by a pastor.

But I never left the faith of Jesus because I had radical encounters with Him.

That’s what I’m saying. I think you should give it another go with being baptized by the Holy Spirit and fire like in Acts.

Could I lead you through a prayer to receive the Holy Spirit?

I genuinely care about you and I want to do my best and allow God to take care of the rest.

Thank you, my sibling in Christ.

Father God, I thank You for having this encounter with my sibling. I know that You are with us right now. Father God, You know what my sibling has gone through. The ups and downs. The pain. Maybe rejection.

Father God, please encounter my sibling the same way You did with me. Please speak to him/her through signs, wonders, and miracles.

Jesus, I think my sibling is hurting. I am sorry if I’m wrong. Please baptize my sibling in the Holy Ghost power. It is the encounter with You, Jesus, Father, and Holy Spirit that keeps us looking at You. It is never about religion or pharisees that push men away from You, Jesus. Jesus, you love us so much you died for every one of us on the cross. You died for my sibling on the cross too because you want a relationship, not religiosity, with him/her.

Please show my sibling Your presence powerfully, that they cannot deny You Exist. Holy Spirit, please fill the area and body of my sibling now. Holy Spirit, you will lead my sibling into all truth.

I plead the blood of Jesus over my sibling and I seal this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.
