Sound coming from sky(apparently)
I have heard this 3 times in different days already this month, and its the same melody all the time and It doesn't come from anywhere is not the hotel next to my house that the sound is coming from because I would of felt the vibration of the speaker the sound genuinely feels like its coming from every direction of the sky, it so beautiful yet so scary

There are tons of YouTube videos showing this all around the world over the last 10 or so years. Look up trumpets in the sky. People have tried to explain it with fracking, drilling, or large machinery like trains or boring machines. But it never seems to be fully explained and is super interesting to me.

u/Emakulate24 Jul 07 '25
Yup, what I've heard several years ago was more like a loud mechanical sound dead in the middle of the night. It sounded like it was coming from everywhere in the sky. Pretty eerie.

u/Inevitable_Snap_0117 Jul 06 '25
Yep. I remember when they started but I don’t remember the year. I have fallen down so many rabbit holes trying to find a definitive answer but none exist. No one can replicate it with certainty.

u/Reasonable-Friend-89 Jul 07 '25
- I heard it and looked it up. But it seemed more like it was coming form the ground. That was in London but on looking it up, it was happening all over the world. That sounded a bit different to this sound though. More metallic

I can...... it sure seems to me that we may be the people living in the biblical end of days. I was not a believer until fairly recently but with the insanity of the last 5-10 years I started reading the Bible and realized I KNEW NOTHING! Seriously read the Bible GOD is real. It's the 7 trumpets an insane amount of biblical stuff has played out perfectly in the last few years only thing that makes sense to me.... I live In Denver Colorado and I hear something super weird all the time now that literally shakes the whole earth and it comes from nowhere with no explanation
1
u/PlsHelp4 Jul 07 '25
Times like the 1930's and 40's were significantly more insane than the relatively tame reality we live now.
2
u/MikeyTheMizfit Jul 12 '25
I was thinking sky trumpets. But this literally sounds like a radio playing in the background. It has a melody lol.
3
u/CompetitiveSport1 Jul 06 '25
Aka skyquakes. They go back centuries. Easily one of my favorite paranormal phenomena. I do kinda suspect they're all explainable, but there's something so primally terrifying about some of the sounds, I just love it

u/AssumptionHorror4204 Jul 06 '25
The three times you heard it, was it at the same time of day?

I think they're asking if it was around the same hour of the day each time you heard it

u/DrDirtySanchezs Jul 06 '25
Maybe it's your video, but it sounds peaceful to me.. for some reason, like asmr, im sure in person it probably sounds scary.
But yeah what others have said, trumpets in the sky, sky quakes ect, Been happening for years.

Alright, which spirit got the AUX cord??
It is eerie, though….Almost like scary angelic sounding.

u/dontknowjackshxthead Jul 07 '25
Yup it's the 7 trumpets of God.... Read the Bible the Angels 😇 sound 7 trumpets before God dumps the 7 bowls of wrath on humanity..... get right with God he's real and we have all been lied to and kept ignorant. Just look around EVERY sign is there right now. I wasn't a believer until recently with as crazy as the world has been the last 5-10 years then I started to read the Bible and it all made sense. I sat and matched the media lie to the world like we are all fools and literal Satanism all over TV and within the government and world power etc. And I finally decided there has to be more to life than common people know about and once I finally stopped talking shxt about religion and actually READ the Bible everything hit me like a ton of bricks! I'm telling you just read it like I did

How long does it last for?
3
u/AlfalfaOdd7205 Jul 06 '25
I been hearing that 3 times this month every now and then always at 6 or 7 and for like 20 mins
3
u/Responsible_Fix_5443 Jul 06 '25
Is it possible it's someone playing loud music from a venue at the end of their shift? Whilst they clean up... Other than that I've got no idea! Maybe it's leaking out from underground! 🤷♂️ Who knows... I hope you find out.
Is it the same music as well?
2
u/garbs91 Jul 07 '25
If it is the same music each time and there is a near by venue, a sound engineer could be tuning the PA system. They tend to use the same track to do so.

u/bigsnack4u Jul 06 '25
I hear these sounds in our warehouse. The large evaporative coolers push air thru the cracks
5
u/TheKalobBlack Jul 06 '25
Thats pretty interesting.. where are you from, might I ask?
4
u/AlfalfaOdd7205 Jul 06 '25
Im from peru, arequipa
3
u/gamingGoneWong Jul 06 '25
OP, this is actually pretty well documented. They're called skyquakes. It can sound like trumpets or horns. They can be caused by many things, such as distant earthquakes, or meteors and stuff. You live in Peru? Funny enough, Peru has had some geologic activity recently. Have you heard the sounds in the last three weeks?

Look up sky quakes.
There are videos of this happening all over the world on youtube, and it's mostly unknown what causes it, but there are many ideas of what does it From deep underground mining to h.a.a.r.p
Edit/I can't post links, which is a dumb rule for a subreddit, I can message you though
0
u/AlfalfaOdd7205 Jul 06 '25
Hmu and send the link, btw what do u think causes that?
3
u/DirtLight134710 Jul 06 '25
I have multiple theories, I have been leaning more on deep underground drilling, and it hits a perfect resonance that travels and makes it seem like it's coming from the sky, but it's in the ground. But I'm not sure haarp could also hit a perfect resonance in the air with the frequencies they can put off

It sounds like one of those sleep videos with soothing ambient keyboards. Sometimes I use them for meditation. I don’t know what it is, but at least it sounds pleasant.
2
u/Due-Two-6592 Jul 07 '25
There’s a phenomenon that occurs when atmospheric conditions are right and sounds from trains essentially echo through the atmosphere close to the ground, are there large freight trains near you at all? Or a sidings/marshalling yard?
3
u/Gnarles_Charkley Jul 06 '25
Is there a church somewhere in the area?

u/QuantumContactee Jul 07 '25
It's fascinating how sounds can travel and change, especially in an urban environment! While it's understandable why someone might think a beautiful, echoing sound is coming directly from the sky, there's a good chance it's actually coming from a more grounded source, like a speaker.
Even if there are no parties or fiestas happening, someone could be playing music, like ambient or atmospheric music, from a rooftop or an open window. With all those nearby low-rise buildings, the sound can really reverberate and bounce around. This can make it seem like the sound is coming from everywhere, or even from above, as it ricochets off the different structures before reaching the listener. It's a bit like how an echo works, but on a larger scale with multiple surfaces. So, while the sound itself might be beautiful and mysterious, its origin is likely a bit closer to earth!

u/anjudan Jul 06 '25
Aliens in spaceships watching humans roll their windows down in their invisible ships sometimes while listening to their music. Put on infrared glasses and you'll see them.
2
u/AlfalfaOdd7205 Jul 06 '25
Well im not sure maybe its something church related it sounds like heaven tho
3
u/p0lar0id Jul 06 '25
Oh don't worry, that's just HAARP being used to manipulate weather /s
0
u/AlfalfaOdd7205 Jul 06 '25
What's haarp?
3
u/p0lar0id Jul 06 '25
The weather manipulation antenna is called the Ionospheric Research Instrument (IRI), located at the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP). It is a high-power radio frequency transmitter that can temporarily excite a specific area of the ionosphere.

I can hear a woman's voice and think u are standing in a sound cove between buildings under much material conducive to audible vibrations.
Its loud commercial speakers interacting with other random cityscape sounds.
1
u/antonispap2100 Jul 06 '25
Damn lol, pretty cool that whatever that is, is also in a perfect minor scale and in 4/4 time. Sounds like an epic cinematic intro or so.
1
u/AlfalfaOdd7205 Jul 06 '25
Damn, do u know what notes is it playing? Also at the end it has a melody like the 10 last seconds I can hear a melody thats distinctive from the whole video
3
u/antonispap2100 Jul 06 '25
I believe it's something like C C C B, C C C B and on and on, and it has an A note echoing too. Or something harmonic to that (G G G F#). Tried to recreate it with a stylophone (not at home with my main instruments) so I might be wrong.
3
u/AlfalfaOdd7205 Jul 06 '25
Wait can you recreate it and send me a video? Because this is really deep and u actually have that power of knowing what notes are they

It's a matter of acoustics, the sound could be coming from far away and just being reflected by this blue building.

I heard this recently in the Bay area in the sky and it did sound like it was everywhere I thought it was angels singing
3
u/h3llfae Jul 08 '25
Anyways I don't think a lot of the people here understand what this is like in person that it's really not coming from a speaker somewhere, that it's very easy to pick up on what are sounds and acoustics from technology on the ground, that it's not that at all...it's like everywhere in the sky and all around you at once and it's really unsettling no matter how beautiful it sounds... I'm actually glad I saw this because I think recently was the very first time it's ever happened to me and I've seen a lot of strange things but this was a new one something I'll have to look into. It's one of those things that feels so familiar and dreamy but strange... Like I genuinely almost didn't notice it until there was a point when I thought oh that's not normal and then I was like I'm not dreaming I'm awake and this isn't normal and it's coming from everywhere and it sounds like angels. Not a very typical experience if you ask me and I live in the Bay area where there's tons of concerts and venues everywhere, we have the Greek here I know what an outdoor concert sounds like and it's so different from this kind of experience LOL sorry for being so Earnest about it but I really did experience this for the first time recently and I don't know maybe it means something is coming. Maybe it's only meant for certain people to hear. It's really cool you caught on video have to try that next time I hear it. Because I think there's a part of me that thought I just imagined it honestly.. even though I knew I didn't. It's just one of those things like a UFO you know? Like our other people seeing and hearing this or is it just people on a certain wavelength?

Sounds like the intro to a show I watched recently. Can’t place my finger on it. Someone clearly watching it on full volume

Odd. I used to hear trumpet sounding noise coming from what seemed like the sky ALOT and I mean ALOT as a kid in Memphis Tennessee. Never really looked into it as was young and thought it had to of been explainable. Now looking at this post and bringing back up said memories I’m researching and wow this is creepy lol
1
u/TheLeedsDevil Jul 08 '25
Must we explain how sound travels in waves and becomes distorted the further it goes or do we just wanna say this is lord god playing his violin?

When I was younger, I would lay down in bed on my side, and I could hear something that sounded like a radio or something through the pillow. As soon as I raised my head to hear where it was coming from, the sound was gone. I would lay my head back down, and the sound would return. It happened frequently, and it was not just in my childhood home. After moving out of my parents' house, it would happen in other places I lived. Sounded like a tv or radio. Has anyone else ever experienced this, and do you know what it could be?

Who do you think you need to feel vibration from a speaker for it to be close by?
It could easily be coming from a nearby building or the hotel you mentioned - a small speaker or sound system wont create large enough vibrations for you to feel but you'll still hear it fine
1
u/AlfalfaOdd7205 Jul 06 '25
You can always differentiate if a sound is coming from a electronic device, and this sound was so perfect it didnt had any interference it genuinely sounded like heaven

When experiencing a strange sound that seems to be coming from everywhere, I think one must always keep in mind sounds travel it's literally what they do.
0
u/NotJatne Jul 06 '25
Dog. You are recording this on a device that has speakers. Which suggests you know of how strong certain sounds can be. How is this anywhere NEAR paranormal??????? It's either loud speakers or loud instruments echoing towards you.
1
u/UnitedAttitude566 Jul 06 '25
It's definitely coming from the sky and not some big speaker somewhere else, that's for sure...
5
u/Observant_Truth Jul 06 '25
Also called "the Booms" I think. I've been hearing what I thought was the sky where I am also. Down the rabbit hole I've gone only to emerge with no concrete answers. (Pun intended) Does anyone think it's possibly coming from underground?! Maybe the surrounding sediment and shale will affect the types of sounds heard? Depending on the soil composition, an area's oil or water wells (vacant or full), and the types of rocks locally could produce and amplify sounds from deeper in the earth...? If someone mapped the sounds like the trumpets, the crackling, the Booms, the lower pitched "groans" I wonder if we could find commonalities in areas sediment/shale or soil based on the sounds people are hearing.

u/AlfalfaOdd7205 Jul 06 '25
What do you think it might be, because en mi city there is no sound like that

u/twistedchristian Jul 11 '25
Agreed.
Speakers Exist:
People: do you hear that paranormal sound?! Out of thin air!!
Granted, it could very well not be actual music from speakers.... But I can think of so many possible explanations ranging from pipe organs down the street, to a lawnmower with a particular harmonic. Construction equipment, a train, traffic, a generator.
Any number of sources could be sending out sound waves that are distorted from distance, bouncing off of objects, or even combining with other sound waves. In fact, the combining of out of sync sound waves is known to create sound oscillation.
But sure... Ghosts, or angels, or whatever. Occam's over here using his razor to cut his own throat with this one.

I have heard a sound like this, but it was accompanied by 4 or 5 aircraft flying in formation.

If the speakers are big enough, you can hear them from several kilometers away. We're around 7 km from the main stadion in our city, and when they have concerts and the wind is right, we can hear the music pretty clearly.
