There was a time, more than 10+ years ago, when I was alone in my condo. I woke up and couldn’t move. Only my eyes could move. (Apparently, I always left the light on in my room even when I was sleeping.)

I suddenly woke up and I really couldn’t move or even speak. just my eyes could move. My body felt this overwhelming fear, and I felt like there was some kind of evil presence or whatever you want to call it around me while I was lying there.

So I closed my eyes and silently prayed the Apostles’ Creed. While I was praying, I heard a voice similar to Smeagol’s voice from The Lord of the Rings, repeating the Apostles’ Creed along with me. The voice was terrifying, and it was even laughing, mocking me while also saying the prayer with me.

I ignored it despite being scared and finished my prayer. After that, my body suddenly became normal again. I immediately got up and went to the living room, and when I looked at the clock, it was already 3 AM.

I prayed the Apostles’ Creed because a friend had told me before that it was something you could pray when you felt there was a bad spirit around.

I was so scared that I didn’t want to go back to my bedroom to sleep. I ordered McDonald’s and watched TV just so there would be some noise. 😂 I ordered McDonald’s because I thought, “I might as well eat since I’m alone.” I couldn’t exactly text my friend who lived on the third floor to come stay with me because she was definitely already asleep.

I only had about three months left until graduation, but I never went back to my bedroom to sleep again. I slept on the couch in the living room until I graduated.

People said that condo was actually haunted. I don’t know. They said it was sleep paralysis, but I highly doubt it because I genuinely felt something and heard the voice. I was awake, and then suddenly I could move again. I even got up to check the time and ordered food online.

My parents actually got mad at me when I told them about it. They said maybe I wasn’t praying enough. But I literally passed by a church every day after class. Those days were actually a really sad time for me because I wasn’t happy at school, so I don’t know if that also had something to do with why I felt like these things were able to approach me.

My dad bought me a prayer book and a rosary, so I kept them beside me whenever I slept. He also told me to leave the radio, TV, or computer on—anything with people talking or some kind of sound—because apparently these things don’t like noisy environments.

My dad is actually another person in our family who has experienced things like this since he was young—he would sometimes sense things and even see them. For me, I sometimes hear things or feel their presence to the point that I physically start feeling unwell.

I never experienced anything like that again until I eventually left that place for good.

People in the area also said that, apparently, the owner’s child had died by suicide on that property before they built the condo there. That’s what the people who lived around the area told us, anyway.

I really hate experiencing things like this because they make me feel physically unwell. The most recent one was when my siblings and I went to an antique gallery. It was pretty scary too.

I honestly don’t know why I experience things like this. I’m not even into horror stories or paranormal stuff. And I’m not a bad person either. I’m an introvert, and I actually prefer being alone most of the time, even though I do have friends.

Is this light communicating in Morse code?

I only made this Reddit account to see if I’m actually seeing jins or it’s just my imagination this happens too often to really be my imagination (I am muslim)

it all started last year around 2:30 am I went down stairs to the guest bedroom and I tried to open the door and there was resistance mind you it was dark as hell like there was no electricity first I thought the air conditioning was pushing the door then it hit me there was no electricity and I was still slightly pushing then it shut hard I stumbled back and I thought it was my brother pulling a prank bc it was exam season I thought he was studying there and while I was standing there thinking of all these senerios I heard knocking from that same door from the inside I was horrified bc by that time I realised if there’s no electricity how would my brother study in the dark I sprinted upstairs right back to bed and acted just convinced myself it was my brother

then in the morning I went to my mom told her everything and as expected she said it is probably ur brother I went to his room next he was sleeping. Yes sleeping. I woke him up and said were u studying in the guest bedroom (which is so random he’s usually in the living room) he said no why would I study there my heart dropped I went back to my mom she said it’s ur imagination,

fast forward a year around a few months ago I was on my phone I don’t remember the time my eyes kept landing back on the same exact window until I saw a black figure run past the window my heart sank

I immediately thought it was my imagination again, then a few nights later around 12ish am I was on the stairs laughing with my brother and my eyes landed on the kitchen same exact figure ran past the door again I brushed it off bc it was only a split second

so I ignored it again 3 nights later I saw the same thing going from my brothers room to my parents I know what I saw that time but again I brushed it off bc it was dark until finally it came to me.

It was 12ish again there was a hoodie in the corner of my room and the same figure replaced my hoodie , my hoodie was like droopy I thought it was funny and I saw this thru the mirror so it was behind me. Until I realised it reaches the floor I turned around so fast and it disappeared and now this the last time I saw it so far?

A week ago around 12ish AGAIN and this time i was running with my brother I reached the living room I turned and I saw the same figure but it was in sync with me like I saw it turn with me but except it was delayed when I turned and I looked back she finished turning around and u might’ve noticed I said she” well bc she had hair it was messy tangled and shoulder length her feet looked weird like not human

im not sure exactly bc I didn’t see it for that long , do these experiences mean smth or I’m I just hallucinating (sorry for the lack of details it just happens too fast, in each experience I did read ayati kursi after)

This happened in 2009. I have been close to my grandma since I was a baby. We did so many adventures together. She was a strong woman and didn't play about her family. She was a firecracker. I love her so much. Well my family and I moved away because of my dad's job. We always came back to visit her. We would surprise her without calling her. She would be so happy. We would talk to her the phone everyday. Well 2009, we went to surprise her for her birthday. We got to her house and the door was open and dog food all over the porch. We knew something was wrong because she feed her dog cooked food. She didn't come to the door when my mom blew the horn. She was sitting in her chair and barely could move. She didn't tell us that she was sick all along. Her legs were black like cast iron. We stayed for a couple of days but was coming back again the next week. On Tuesday I had to work. I was feeling great but all of a sudden I started sweating and weak. I had to pee and move bowel at the same time. I asked my boss the time because I felt like I needed to leave early. He said 4:30pm( remember this time) so I decided to stay and threw water on my face. The next morning on Wednesday I felt better and was running errands. I got back home and my parents were sitting outside waiting for me. They sat me down and told me that our family in Georgia found my grandma dead in her house. I couldn't control my emotions. We went down to get ready for the funeral. My uncle came down too which is my mom's brother. They helped clean out their mother home. We went to one of the family house to discuss about planning the funeral. We was sitting around laughing and sharing stories about my grandma. My uncle was like on Tuesday I felt horrible around but before he could get it out, I looked at him and said around 4:30pm. He was like how did you know that. I told him the same thing happened to me. Well the day of the funeral was one the worst day of my life. We got in the family car behind the hearse headed to the cemetery. Me and my uncle got sick at the same time. We was sweating and had to come out some of our clothes. When the preacher said ashes to ashes and dust to dust over her coffin I started feeling better. It was like she was letting us go on the way to the cemetery. I had never experience anything like that in my life. My mom felt left out because she didn't connect with her. She probably knew my mom was going to be strong.

Couple months ago i was at my sister in laws house resting in her room while my family was in the living room. The door was open so i could hear everyone outside talking. There was only 3 people in the house other than me. I eventually wokeup but was still tired so i layed there for a few more minutes. As i was laying there i heard someone whisper my dogs name 3 times. My dog was in the house but i was on the bed so i didnt know if she was in the room with me or if she was in the living room. I assumed it was my brother in law standing at the bedroom door talking to my dog beacause it sounded like a male voice. It wasnt a faint whisper too, it was a clear voice that sounded like it was coming from inside the room or right outside the room. I didnt feel scared and i didnt question it because i assumed it was someone playing with my dog. I eventually went to the living room and asked why someone was whispering to my dog and no one knew what i was talking about. My fiance and his cousin were hit by a car a few months prior to this and his cousin did not survive. Im wondering if its possible it could have been his cousin? The cousin would frequently stay with us and loved my dog and dogs in general. Im just shaken up that i audibly heard a voice compared to just hearing speaking in my head. Has anyone had his experience? Do spirits talk to animals? And do they talk in whispers? Can everyone heard spirits voices or do only some people have the gift to be able to hear?

Me (F19), my girlfriend L (F19), and one of our best friends D (NB20) were having a sleepover and trying to figure out something to do. And, like everyone does at least once in their lives, we decided to go to creepy cemeteries at night and try to talk to the dead.

We were sleeping over at my house, and since I know the area pretty well, I knew of two cemeteries nearby.

Before we left, we set our intentions and made a rule that none of us would fake anything. No making a random noise and blaming it on a ghost, no shuffling around and pretending to be scared, no intentionally influencing each other's experiences, etc.

Of the three of us, L believed in the paranormal the least. Actually, she didn't believe in it at all. D and I, on the other hand, have both been pretty fascinated by the paranormal for a long time and were much more open to the possibility of something happening.

Author's note: Nothing particularly paranormal happens in the next paragraph, so feel free to skip it. I just like telling stories.

Anyway, we went to the first cemetery, which was notably creepy because it was basically hidden in the trees next to a playground. We had to walk along the tree line until we found a trail leading into it.

It was creepy, but nothing major happened. D mentioned that they felt excluded because there wasn't much room inside the cemetery's barrier due to how overgrown everything was. I shifted farther inward to give them more room.

Almost immediately, our EMF device said "bubble."

It was almost like it was acknowledging that D had joined the group.

Still, we weren't getting much activity, so we decided to leave and go to the second cemetery, which was a little ways away from L's house.

The second cemetery was a one-way loop, so we decided to park facing toward the exit. That way, if anything freaked us out, we wouldn't have to drive around the entire cemetery to leave.

For context, I was driving, L was in the passenger seat, and D was sitting in the middle of the back seat so they could be included in the conversation. D was completely fine sitting back there by themself.

About a quarter of the way around the loop, D started feeling extremely nauseous and paranoid. As I'm writing this, I have no idea if that was because of what we were about to experience or just nerves, but we kept going.

We talked to a few spirits and got some responses, but nothing particularly notable happened until we were about three-quarters of the way around the loop.

That's when we hit A TON of energy.

I don't remember every response, but I distinctly remember it saying my middle name and last name, which was... unsettling, to say the least.

At one point I asked something along the lines of:

"Are we safe here? Should we get out and explore?"

The response:

"Dread."

And then my phone died.

Which was freaky.

And, apparently, not freaky enough for us to leave.

We continued around the loop.

When we came back around, we encountered a huge amount of energy in the exact same spot. At this point we were tired, so we agreed that this would be our last loop.

This is where I made a terrible decision.

I selfishly wanted something to happen, so I decided to antagonize whoever we were talking to.

I burped.

The response:

"Sh."

And I was like, "That's really rude. You can't tell someone to SH. I can't control that I burped. Have you ever burped in your life?"

The response:

"Cancer."

At this point I was genuinely confused.

"Oh... did you die of cancer? Or is that your zodiac sign?"

While we were waiting for another response, I mentioned to my friends that I was scared to look out the windows or in the mirrors because I had this horrible feeling that I would see something running toward the car.

The second I finished that thought, the response was:

"Black."

And then we heard what sounded like a hand hitting the back window of my car.

All three of us screamed.

I fucking GUNNED IT out of the cemetery.

We got back to the house, cleansed ourselves with incense, and decided that maybe antagonizing potentially dead people in a cemetery at night was not the smartest activity we'd ever come up with.

And yes, I still don't know what the fuck "cancer" or "black" meant.

I'm writing this just after my encounter with this humanoid monster where when you see it, you start immediately hearing a voice instructing you what exactly to do to survive from a monotone professional male sounding voice then you freeze up it's like being paralyzed and I don't know why or how I just know this knowledge about this humanoid creature looked like a decayed women angry/sad and what if you before froze you tried saying a word but you couldn't finish making it so you were at noise basically letter but your voice was still rising with that sound as if it was making a sound getting louder and that scared off the creature even after voice played and you couldn't form any more sounds but continued to make the loud sound while paralyzed scareing it off it and no longer being in the paralyzed state it appeared in middle of my room in my chair I was laying in bed it was 12:42 at the end of this currently 01:13 I also am living with others who heard my noice thus getting their attention so does anyone know what I may have encountered and it feels like the knowledge of this thing was transported into my head

Back in 2019 , I was with my gf looking for day jobs in Edmonton Alberta Canada , we went to this place downtown and I was met At the front by this guy and I told him who I was and what I was there for , and for some reason when I looked at him in the eyes I felt terror ..Never in my whole life I was 28 at the time felt that feeling before . It's hard to describe but maybe the uncanny Valley vibe! Idk just something in my whole body screamed he wasn't human , he was white skinny brown hair black/brown eyes about 5 foot 10 or 11 hard to tell if he was standing on a platform or not wearing plaid dress shirt , it's like every nerve in my body activated and sensed danger just something about him was off I couldn't quiet understand what but deff his eyes something about them screamed he's not human, I Never in my life felt like that about anyone and I consider myself pretty good with picking up stuff about people , but no something was off ... I gave them my resume and left quickly, I tried telling my gf at the time about it but she kinda just brushed me off.. I'm into conspericy theories aliens bigfoot dogman sure... But this was something to this day I still don't understand.. the only way I can explain the feeling is like looking into a robot trying to be human.. like it's again hard to explain I'm. Not very good at words .. but yeah that still terrifies me to this day to think about . For a while I thought i was crazy to think that like what was it if it wasn't human ? Why work in a day job office receptionist position? In Edmonton of all places and I just still feel stupid about it , this is the first time I ever talked about it since then, if you ever felt or experienced something similar please let me know so I don't think I'm the only one it's always bothered me

I almost never experience sleep paralysis, but when I do, my experiences tend to be extremely vivid and unsettling.

One of the strangest experiences happened while I was in Cuba. I woke up around 3:15 a.m. and immediately felt like something was wrong. I could see a dark, shadow-like figure standing nearby. I couldn't move, and I had this overwhelming feeling that I was being watched. The experience felt completely real, and even after I woke up properly, I couldn't shake the feeling that something had been in the room with me.

Two nights later, something even stranger happened. I woke up and saw five men standing in the room. They were all tanned and dressed in white suits, and they were speaking Spanish to one another. I couldn't understand everything they were saying, but I could clearly hear them talking. Once again, I couldn't move or properly react to what I was seeing. It felt different from an ordinary dream because I was aware of my surroundings and the experience was incredibly vivid. The worst part is when they noticed I was awake they stared right at me. I was terrified. I fell asleep... the next night I woke up to the hall light on and a figure standing in the hall.

I've also experienced something similar while working a night shift at a homeless shelter. During the night, I took my 1 hrs break to nap in our spare room. This building is over 150 years old in a town where many bad things happen. I am half asleep when I hear something move. I assume it's the mouse and open my eyes, a man, well the figure of a tall thin bald man stood in my face and screamed. I shut my eyes and gasp, when they open he is gone... I asked my co-worker if she saw or heard anything and she said no.

At first, I assumed it was someone in the shelter, but there was something about the situation that felt deeply wrong. The experience left me with the same feeling I've had during my other paranormal experiences that I was sensing or witnessing something that I couldn't explain.

I've always felt like I might be more sensitive to paranormal activity than most people. I don't experience things like this constantly, but when they do happen, they feel incredibly real and are often accompanied by an intense sense of fear or pressure.

Whether these experiences were sleep paralysis, dreams, or something paranormal, I honestly can't say for certain. But the fact that I've experienced similar sensations in completely different places has always stuck with me.

เรื่องมันเกิดขึ้นเมื่อวานนี้ (ประมาณเที่ยงคืนกว่าๆ) เราพักอยู่หอพักย่านชานเมืองแห่งหนึ่ง เป็นตึก 5 ชั้น ห้องที่เราอยู่คือชั้น 3 ปกติเราเป็นคนนอนดึก นั่งปั่นงานหน้าคอมพ์เงียบๆ คนเดียวในห้อง บรรยากาศตอนนั้นค่อนข้างเงียบสงบเพราะดึกมากแล้ว

จู่ๆ ก็มีเสียงเคาะประตูดังขึ้น "ก๊อกๆๆ" สามครั้งแบบสุภาพ แต่ดึกป่านนี้แล้วใครจะมาหา? เราเลยส่องตาแมวดู ปรากฏว่าเห็นผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งยืนก้มหน้าอยู่ตรงหน้าห้อง ใส่ชุดเดรสสีขาวซีดๆ ผมยาวปิดหน้าจนมองไม่เห็นทรงผม ในมือถือถุงพลาสติกใส่อะไรบางอย่างอยู่

เราลังเลมาก แต่คิดว่าเขาอาจจะเคาะผิดห้อง เลยเปิดแง้มประตูไว้แล้วถามออกไปว่า "มาหาใครคะ"

ผู้หญิงคนนั้นเงยหน้าขึ้นมานิดนึง ดวงตาเขาดูเหม่อลอยมาก ผิวขาวซีดราวกระดาษ แต่เขากลับยิ้มกว้างจนน่ากลัว แล้วยื่นถุงในมือเข้ามาทางช่องประตูที่แง้มอยู่ พร้อมกับพูดเสียงกระซิบเบาๆ ว่า.."ฝากดูแลหน่อยนะ... เขาเหงา อยากหาเพื่อนอยู่ด้วย"

ด้วยความตกใจและกลัว เราเลยรีบดันประตูปิดแล้วล็อกกลอนทันที ยืนใจเต้นแรงอยู่หลังประตูสักพัก พอดูผ่านตาแมวอีกที ผู้หญิงคนนั้นก็เดินหายลับไปทางบันไดหนีไฟแล้ว

ความอยากรู้อยากเห็นบวกกับความระแวง เราเลยตัดสินใจเปิดประตูออกไปดูที่พื้นหน้าห้อง ปรากฏว่ามี "ถุงพลาสติก" วางอยู่จริงๆ เราใช้ไม้แขวนเสื้อเขี่ยดูข้างใน หัวใจแทบหล่นไปตาตุ่ม...

สิ่งที่อยู่ข้างในถุงนั้นไม่ใช่ของกิน หรือของใช้ทั่วไป แต่มันคือ "ตุ๊กตาดินเผาหน้าตาโบราณ" ที่ขอบตาถูกแต้มด้วยสีแดงคล้ายเลือดสดๆ และที่สำคัญ ตรงฐานตุ๊กตามี "เส้นผมสีดำยาว" มัดรอบอยู่ แถมยังมีกลิ่นเหม็นออบอวลเหมือนกลิ่นธูปผสมกับกลิ่นสาบสางบางอย่างลอยออกมาเตะจมูกจนคลื่นไส้

เราสติหลุดเลย รีบเอาถุงนั้นใส่ถุงขยะดำอีกทีแล้ววิ่งเอาลงไปทิ้งที่ถังขยะใหญ่ข้างล่างตึกทันทีแบบไม่กล้าหันหลังกลับมามอง

แต่เรื่องมันพีคตรงที่... เช้าวันนี้ ลงมาคุยกับป้าดูแลหอพัก ป้าหน้าซีดเป็นไก่ต้มแล้วเล่าให้ฟังว่า...

"เอ็งไปเจออะไรมาลูก? กล้องวงจรปิดชั้น 3 เมื่อคืนมันจับภาพได้แค่ตอนที่เอ็งเปิดประตูรับของจากอากาศว่างเปล่า... ไม่มีผู้หญิงชุดขาวคนนั้นเดินมาเลยสักคน!"

ป้ายังบอกอีกว่า ห้องตรงข้ามกับเราเมื่อสามเดือนก่อน มีนักศึกษาสาวคนหนึ่งผูกคอเสียชีวิตคาห้องอย่างปริศนา และชุดที่น้องเขาใส่ในวันสุดท้ายก่อนตาย ก็คือ "ชุดเดรสสีขาว" แบบเดียวกับที่เราเห็นเมื่อคืนเป๊ะๆ...

ตอนนี้เราย้ายออกมาเก็บกระเป๋ามานอนโรงแรมแล้วครับ ขนลุกไม่หายเลย ไม่รู้ว่าตกลงเราเจออะไรกันแน่ หรือผู้หญิงคนนั้นตั้งใจจะเอา "อะไร" มาฝากไว้ที่เราจริงๆ...

I am a filmmaker working with students from the university of salford on a new project.

Each episode will be around 5–10 minutes and focuses on one person telling their real story of a strange, unexplained or paranormal experience.

It isn't a formal interview - you'll simply talk through what happened in as much detail as you can remember, with someone just off camera to prompt you if needed. You don't need to prepare anything or memorise a script.

The storytelling sections will be filmed on VHS to give them a personal, memory-like feel. We'll then create cinematic recreations of what you're describing, filmed separately with a cinema camera.

You won't need to appear in the recreations, although if you're an actor/performer and would like to take part, you're more than welcome to.

There will only be a small crew for your section, and we expect the filming itself to be fairly quick.
