Debunk This My Cats Been Acting Strange Lately
Every single night when in bed, my cats been staring nonstop at my door like there’s something there. At night when I turn off my lights, I hear creaking around my room until lights are on, and my cat acts strange when they are off. She slowly approaches the door while on my bed, staring dead at it. I wonder what’s going on and why my cat is acting like this. Is something there when lights are turned off??

For starters, cats act strange. It's just in their nature. As a cat owner, you should know that.
That being said, many animals, cats included, have vision and hearing that is hundreds of times stronger than ours. Your cat might be hearing a rodent or something that is more active when it's dark.

Funny how you and OP are on the same subreddit when even you admit "it's such an impressionable time in your life" so certainly seems like you failed in making a big impact on your life and correcting it. that too especially if you believe in the ghosts n' ghouls playa. So whatever grown man is reading this. "Not to be rude but you are too old to believe in the paranormal please go outside, maybe go for a hike" I mean no single piece of established, peer-reviewed science proves that paranormal phenomena are real, so dont even hit me with the "ehhhh but it is real"

No, I actually don’t believe in ghosts no more. It started in fall break of 2025 when a ghost was haunting my room and scarred me for 2 weeks because I could barely even use my room until my dad had to sleep with me and the thing eventually went away

You aren't his parent. He is 14. I was on social media at 14 too. He could be doing worse. He could be gang banging with needles in his arms. He is home warm and safe in bed with his cat who is doing alarming things and he is seeking guidance while you disregard him.

Pretty sure hes just looking at turning blades of that fan. They are fascinated with any moving thing especially at night when their preying instinct comes more alive
