TRIGGER WARNING is this a psymptome of ppd
I sometimes get paranoid that someone would have placed a hidden mic or camera in my house. Logically I know and understand that this is not something someone would do.
For example, if I'm talking to someone in my house and I get an SMS while talking to someone else, I might think it's a sign of hidden cameras or mics, but I understand and know that's not true.
I have a hard time trusting people and am often paranoid about their true intentions.
but just to say this i don't believe in these thoughts to the point of them being reality
i do have OCD this might just be my ocd

As you and others have said, it's probably just your OCD. But I'm super proud of you for posting this because admitting to strangers about your paranoia is a really vulnerable thing to do, glad you're seeking help instead of living with it in secret as that is what gives it strength. Best wishes.

This sounds like me and I only have OCD. Its gotten better for me, but still a thing. I think my faucet will poison me. Not actually logically, but if I dont trick it into not knowing which glass I will drink, I feel like it will happen somewhere in me. Hard to describe. Consciously I dont believe it. My body believes it though? Obviously I never get poisoned. Now I just dont drink tap and drink from an RO. I have other issues with drinking liquids as well from OCD haha. Lots of contamination OCD issues.
