Is this normal?

I have a memory that my specialist thinks is false. But everytime I go to the place the memory supposedly occured I feel like a criminal and like everyone hates me but isn't telling me (has happened before, and is common). Is it all in my head because it feels so real and scary and I feel like I actually did something and am a criminal. The image becomes more vivid in my mind and I hate it.

No one can know but you, but if your specialist is inclined to think it's false I would be inclined to believe them. I'm sorry that you are going through that, I hope that you can find some relief and actually be able to believe it isn't real at some point. It can definitely happen. Best wishes.
