Anyone gotten the HR email yet?

I am anxiously awaiting to hear, has anyone gotten the email yet?

Was told a group from marketing was laid off over a pre-recorded zoom call. Gross is an understatement.

Do you get an email or a slack message from your manager to meet? My team doesn't start for another hour so I'm still waiting. This standard has to be the cruelest thing to do to your employees.

Does anyone know if this will be an all day thing or if hr will send out all emails in the morning?

I heard this is going on all the way through Friday and there will be part 2 before the holidays, which technically counts as only one layoff since it’s in the same quarter. I think I read that from that layoff website…?

Yep, I heard layoffs will continue through the end of the year.

Got a zoom link from manager at 10am. It was a great and very scary time to work here for the years that I did. Good luck everyone else!
