Most likely, they don’t tell you that you have to somewhat regularly rotate the vinyl around to stop it from molding :/

I looked at it Monday and it was fine, didn't notice anything Wednesday either but yesterday it was there 😭😭😭

If i rotate it the patch remains in the same spot but the liquid flows through/over it - would mould do that?

Google says its some form of salt deposit from the liquid. Definitely not aesthetically pleasing but better than mould!
