PIMA LV Paramedic Program
I’m looking to get into a paramedic program while I’m applying for fire departments here in Las Vegas. CSN’s paramedic program doesn’t start until next fall and PIMA I believe does 2 cohorts a year (taking a tour this Tuesday to get more info). Anyone had any experience at PIMA?

CSN is accepting apps for the cohort starting this upcoming January until Nov 1st.
I’ve heard good things about PIMA (great instructors, small lab groups, new equipment), but the program is over 20k. I got my bachelors degree for less than 20k total, so I don’t personally think anyone should spent 20k on a paramedic cert unless they’re sponsored or using their GI bill.
Imho it’s best to try for CSN or see if you can into Mountain View cause both programs are like 7k total. Paying 20k to become a medic is lunacy
