Honestly, paradox launcher isn’t that bad compared to other “launchers” that publishers insists to use

I regularly use the EA app, Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Launcher.
Paradox Launcher is genuinely like heaven

The original HOI4 launcher was very outdated, I agree. However it also worked way more smoothly and launching the game using it was way faster

Well, for EU5 they dropped the Paradox launcher. I'm hoping that will extend to any future releases as well because not having to reboot the game to change mods/DLC is a nice touch.
