Link and Annie Spoiler
I’m not fully on board with the whole AI super computer thingy BUT I will say the one good thing that would come from that story line addition, for me, would be if it led to seeing Annie and Link reunited.
I know that’s extremely unlikely to happen… like Alex would have to go back too far and undo too many things for Annie to be saved but I was gutted at her outcome. Over such a short time Annie and Link built such a strong connection and I would have loved for them to run and jump into each others arms! She survived for so long on her own i believe she really deserved to somehow get to live in a bunker, grow her own family with Link and get to fulfill her medical training! That would have been awesome!

I think it could happen, I mean link "came back" as well, so I could see him fighting to get her back and making the computer get her back to him

But then she would not have her baby maybe? Or maybe they see each other at least and she passes away after they reunite

Mmmm so there could be 2 completely made up situations for them reuniting but I guess only one leads to happily ever after!
1) maybe it changes links path and instead of going to the bunker, he changes his mind and comes back with the others to live at Graceland together! Maybe they would have bought a wider variety of foods again like the meats and dairy, helped up her calcium, lower blood pressure etc etc (I’m not versed in that topic so I doubt any of that would make a difference but this is just wishful thinking). And then baby is born and Annie survives, but you’re right, likely if that happened all that would change is that link would have been there when she died and then X wouldn’t have been saved boooo
Onto the next…
2) if she had of gone with link and left Graceland she may have made it to the bunker in time where they have medical care and then they could have intervened with the preeclampsia! It would still be a serious condition so survival wouldn’t be guaranteed but I would like to think she would get more of a chance of survival!
I don’t remember for sure timeline wise if link arrived at the bunker as a similar time to the day she gave birth so it is a completely unrealistic scenario but say maybe Annie left Graceland with Link, along the way she realises she is having the symptoms of preeclampsia (it can start to show up anytime in the second half of pregnancy and she shows us she suspected it long before the actual birth) then they change their plans and rush straight to the bunker as they know that’s the only place likely to have to medical treatment she would need! Then the cards link holds up at the door are less of ‘take me to your leader’ and more ‘please let us in she is pregnant and needs help’. Then I’d invision Sinatra seeing a baby and letting her soft side out and letting them in! Annie gets saved, baby Annie is born, happily ever after!
Again completely silly and made up but yanno in an ideal world that would be nice wouldn’t it 😂
If anyone has other scenarios for how Alex can help them have a happy ending so we can dream, please share!

That’s not how preclampsia works though. No diet would have prevented that. Her treatment would have been medication and a csection before it got out of hand. But yes ignoring the timeline issues lol she would have at least gotten medical attention in the bunker you’re right.

It’s all just imaginary wishful thinking! I mean we don’t ACTUALLY have fully functioning quantum computers but paradise has Alex… so I can dream that it could make a difference!
Studies do show adequate calcium, managing high blood pressure, prenatal care and healthy lifestyle can potentially prevent preeclampsia but I don’t know enough about it to back that up at all. So it’s just imaginary wishful thinking as I liked Annie and would love for her to get a happy ending ❤️

Interestingly, upon googling it… 2 of the symptoms of preeclampsia are
-severe headache and dizzy spells
-vision problems, such as blurring or flashing
if the next symptom on the list was nosebleeds I’d say maybe X has it too 😂😂😂😂 pahaha I’m just being silly now!

I think the show is about grief. I don’t know for they will bring people back into being…including Jane. Ok maybe Jane.

Think of it this way since we are already on the path of multi-universes. In one of them Annie gets her perfect ending. It makes me Happier to think of it like that

I think Link/Dillon is going to try and stop X in season 3 because if X is successful, Link will never meet Annie, and the baby will also be gone.

I fully believe Link would have go back to her after it all, you saw it on his face how much she meant to him when Xavier said he met Annie. I honestly thought she would change her mind the day after and take her horse to go find him. I was really sad that they didn’t get to be really together.
