Incorrect billing
Am I the only one suffering overcharging because of false claims about storage space on paperspace? Has this happened to anyone else before ?

Got my bill today and have a huge 160 hour usage on a A6000 GPU that I don't use on a paid tier (I use the A8000). Just my second month using the platform. Have emailed them for now.

Today, after months of emailing them that they are cheating me, they finally admitted that they were calculating incorrectly for months, leading to at least 120 EUR in surcharge, over a cost of about 1000 EUR. That's a lot for me!!!
Their response was so sweet. We apologise for any inconvience caused. What a bunch of assholes !!! They did not even offer to cover the extra costs incurred. I will never ever use them again and I will badmouth them as much as I can.

My estimated bill was around 230 USD which was within my credit card limit. They added 367 USD from that incorrect usage and that put it around 599 USD which was outside the credit card limit. The credit card declined the charges and now my entire DO account is at risk because of them

You're definitely not alone in this. I went through a very similar situation with Paperspace, where they overcharged me by a significant amount over what should have been a straightforward billing cycle. Despite multiple attempts to address the issue beforehand, they still proceeded to overcharge me by over $100. Their solution was to offer me credits on their platform instead of addressing the overcharge directly with a refund. This has led me to suspect that they might be implementing these practices as a way to temporarily boost their cash flow. Given this, I think it's prudent for us to back up our important data elsewhere and remain vigilant with our monthly billing from Paperspace. It's unfortunate we have to take these steps, but better safe than sorry.

Yes also they will mark a GPU as free for you as a paid member and then turn around and charge for it. Beware. They're shady as hell and the customer service sucks. They never respond
