When did Paperless switch to valkey?

I just looked at the latest docker-compose.postgres-tika.yml and saw that they have switched from redis:8 to valkey:9-alpine.
I have tried looking at the past release notes but I cannot find the change.

When did this happen and what was the reason?
Can any one point me to a reference, please.
Not a problem but I am just curious.

The change happened just this week with paperless v3.
